With the fires raging in Australia, gaming companies have stepped up to help out, in their own ways. Infinity Ward and Bungie are selling DLC packs in Modern Warfare and Destiny 2 respectively that give players cosmetic items, to which the entirety of the money from these sales is then donated to those in need in Australia. And while Humble Bundle may have changed ownership in recent years, they're also joining in to raise money for a good cause. Humble has just launched its Australia Fire Relief bundle, which packages 29 games together for $25, to which every cent will go to charities such as the RSPCA, WIRES, World Wildlife Fund, and Australian Red Cross. You can grab some pretty well-regarded games in the bundle, including Hollow Knight and Duck Game, with the full list available below.

It's so awesome to see so many companies raising money and donating to help with the fires. They're doing so much more than both sides of government. I've also seen a lot of research has gone into the particular organisations to donate to, which is wonderful (although I've noticed the RSPCA is a common one, and in my area at least they're not doing much at all. The real heroes for wildlife are independent rescues and wildlife hospitals). Humble have always done a lot of good stuff, and I'm really glad they're doing this.

I can only attest to actually having played one game (Duck Game) out of all those, but:

• Paradigm was one of 2017's highest-rated games on Opencritic
• Duck Game is an amazing/hilarious versus party game with friends
• Hand of Fate 2 is yet another well-liked 2017 game that's a DRPG with card-based combat
• Euro Truck Sim is like Cross Country (that DOS game) but with meme-like cult status

Whether or not you could get all those games for under 25 by waiting around for separate sales is a different subject, but in this case, you get five solid indies, and support charity for doing so.

No one is saying that the other games aren't fun, but this bundle is clearly selling on Hollow Knight.

I am sorry mate, but the situation which is currently unfolding in Australia cannot be compared to the actions done by the Brazilian government.

A few key differences between the fires in Brazil and the ones found in Australia:

- The fires in Brazil are started by the goverment themselves, this has been proven on numerous occassions and this is also the reason WHY the UN is sanctioning the country instead of helping them. The government there does not seem to give a f#$k about the rain forests and rather burns them down so the can expand their agricultural industry.
- The fires in Australia are mostly caused by intense draughts, something which we humans sadly cannot control. I hope you follow the news every now and then, because the government does everything within its power to stop the fires from destroying anymore nature, houses, etc.

Void Bastards is the only game on the list I want that I don't already own, but I've already donated to fighting Aussie wildfires. Pretty good collection though. I can highly recommend Hollow Knight, Hand of Fate 2, Satellite Reign, and Tower of Guns for anyone who hasn't played them.

Climate change really shouldn't be a political issue at all, it's a survival issue. Sadly it seems we won't be able to address it as such until it's a matter of life or death for a much bigger portion of the world's population.
