That's a possibility, but I totally don't know how YUZU handles stuff.

I'm working on a lot of stuff, so when I get to the music side of my endeavors, I can test stuff.
I hazily remember doing stuff with KORG, MMM, Acid, .ogg and btcsm (3DS shit I can barely remember how to run or name), but it was interesting and maybe I'll learn something related to making HOME themes (with music) on Switch.

Have those links given you any insight?

Yuzu can't apparently handle Pokemon Sword, unfortunately.
Also, it seems that POkemon sword uses WWise and Wem, so alas more work is required to understand.

Hey, even getting to the point of knowing the music is in .wem format is cool.
I'm guessing you can go from .ogg to .wem easily, so that's cool, as well.

Maybe there are other games that function the same, so that could save a lot of headache; if you try:

Maybe those guys have expertise in the field?

I am wondering whether the solution prospected here is a better alternative to that tutorial: https://nh-server.github.io/switch-guide/extras/game_modding/

Possibly, but if it doesn't pan out, you know which way the path goes.

I think you might have to disassemble the game, replace folders (with music converted from .ogg to .wem), and repack.

That is, unfortunately, the most likely option. Apparently music works in the same was as let's go pikachu

Yeah, thought as much (Let's Go/Sw/Sh), but you have most of the process figured out, so it isn't so bad.
I mean...how far are you--have you figured out the "looping" issue?

No, but I wonder if replacing .WEM files with Metadata encoded could work.
Issue is, AFAIK the music of PKMN Sword is in "custom vorbis" - whatever the hell that means. Wonder if OPUS would work.

I did send a PM but no answer yet.

I'd give it a little bit--people are busy.

Maybe wait a week, but still keep pressing onward with learning about music--this way, if you do get a response and they do want to help, you can be of use.

I'm sure there's a bombardment of questions about, "Will this work on v1.1?", so he might just be like, "ugh..".

The loop points need to be edited. This is found within the bank files in the NX64 folder where the sound is. However, the struct needs to be known first in order to figure it out. I suspect that we need to edit either Init.bnk, or BGM.bnk.

These are files generated by Wwise 2017, so any tool which can edit loop points for files generated by Wwise 2017 should suffice.
