Get ready for more Fire Emblem, because today's Smash reveal for Byleth wasn't the only big news for the series. Hidden below Garreg Mach is a new, fourth house, called Ashen Wolves. It has an entire new set of students, such as Balthus, Hapi, Yuri, and Constance. This side story will be available in the upcoming DLC for the game, called Cindered Shadows, which launches February 13th as part of Fire Emblem: Three Houses' Expansion Pass.

Oh my god, who the heck cares? At this rate, there will be more fire emblem characters and games than there was Dynasty Warriors titles. At least one didn't have to be ass deep in lore to have fun with a Dynasty game, typically.

It's like unless you know to attack the left nipple ring of a boss with an axe in fire emblem, you were as good as losing all your best characters on its perma death mechanic.

The Japanese title makes more sense now, the English should've been "Fire Emblem: Four Seasons".

Played thru the game once with that blue guy. My least fav. FE game. This harry potter crap was annoying as fck. The fact, that it sold so well, will probably make me skip future entrys of the series.

I mean, one of the things I liked most was the choice you got when playing. If you dislike the monastery, you can skip it entirely and still have a hugely enjoyable experience. You only really lose out on a bit of optional character development.

you literally picked one of the worst routes. i suggest skipping the exploration phases (just do seminars and battles) until part two and then more or less continue that trend into the rest but put more effort into byleths training. part one is just a tutorial and it's built in such a way you can greatly avoid interaction with it. Golden deer or saying no to edelgard on black eagle routes were my 2 faves

The canon route should be Edelgard actually learning the truth that she was used for her entire life.
Hopefully that's the fifth route.

this is great, too bad it is not separate, so you must buy all the dlc together to play this,
but, for 25 euro, it's okay I guess.
I'm excited to see how this "side story" goes, and how long in terms of chapters it'll be?
the shortest chapters path is 18 (BE: CF)
and the longest path is: 22 (GD: VW) & 22 (BL: AM)
so I hope CS falls into the range of 18 - 22 chapters?
tho this might not be possible as this side story/path is pre free/war phase, so long as long as a wind chapters path would be?
chapter 1 - 12?

im also excited to see how a Byleth (M) X Yuri will be. ahahah
