If the screens aren't powered on, then you're bricked.
Sounds like the NAND died, because normally, installing/updating Unlaunch doesn't cause bricks.
A hardmod will not fix this, so you'll need to buy either a new DSi or 3DS.

That means,in the Moment of the LAST write access the NAND "gives up" without any Warning/Error ?
How big is THIS Chance ?

Thank you.:)

Even if it's only a filesystem corruption ?

If it's just that, then provided you have a NAND backup from before the brick, you can do hardmod to restore it to the console.
@Santelite if you have a NAND dump (which I hope you do), I'd give it a shot.
If it turns out to realy be a dead NAND, you might also be able to buy a new NAND and replace it - not all hope is lost.

Maybe this sounds stupid: Did you try without SD?

(Sinchen and people around her are very camera-shy but a friend of mine took the risk to film it – hopefully no stupid reflections on the screen)
As the video shows, I managed to bring a perfectly working DSi with unlaunch to double black screen on power on with garbage on SD.

Its a perfectly valid question. Yes, I did try to power it on without SD card, unfortunately, it didn't work., also I tried to delete bootcode.dsi (Of course I made a copy)

I remember I did a NAND backup, but it was a long time ago. Hopefully if I dig deep on my computer I will find it, but i have no idea

Thanks for the help ya'll
