Nintendo Switch users may soon get the chance to experience a series of highly regarded games, in the form of BioShock: The Collection, which has just been rated for release on the platform. Found via the Taiwanese video game ratings board were filings for Nintendo Switch ports of BioShock 1 and 2 Remastered, as well as BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition. Considering the track record of Taiwan's ratings board, an official announcement is almost certain to follow soon, with more details. Previously, BioShock: The Collection released in 2016, for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and features visual enhancements to the original games.

I said this a while back, but the saving grace for the Switch was that Nintendo had such poor systems previously.

All Wii U games are practically new to most Switch games, it was like Nintendo had a suite of first party titles at launch (I suppose they did technically, just ports is all)

Also the fact even going back to the success of the Wii, they still struggled for ports due to hardware constraints.

So these 10 year old games will now run fine at lower settings on the Switch hardware, with some work

All devs will jump on board, having a large market to push old cider with minimal effort is the dream, isnt it?

Edited to say at least they have a lot of decent games, regardless of age.

Probably Remastered will be added to title of one game, when Collection will include all BioShock games.

I like the setting of the games, but actually played the first, only. Except the Big Daddy encounters, I didn't find the game THAT amazing. Might give the others a shot.

I still have my Big Daddy figurine, after all.

nintendo always HAD good games, unlike other consoles. Depends whats your definition of "good".
You can play all these games on PC, this is nothing new or better on Switch.
where nintendo shines are 1st partie games and new exclusive (vhere every console shines basically) but imo nintendo always had best exclusives.
As i said, they should focus on 1st partie like metroid! i dont see any metroid pumping out. Idk whats with them latwly, releasing pc games like its something new.
I mean i like the movement, thw more the marrier, but they shouldnt loose focus and be what they where. They are no Sony. Nintendo always had their charm.

Theh try to bring everyone on switch, which imo is not good idea. Yeah, it works, but i stil think its best for nintendo to have focus and do what it always did. They are best at it!

Well the reason it was borring to me was artstyle and theme of whole game. It was a good idea, but executed not so well for me.

Ugh who cares .. bring some AAA exclusives.. KIRBY... or abunch of HD REMAKES of N64 Games .. i love the switch but comin nintendo.. no new dk or mario yet..? This is great news, I'll be finishing Bioshock 2 soon and my laptop is a bit weak for Infinite, hopefully the Switch version will do the trick

Great games. You actually have to think and have options. Not just murder sim. Great art. For me the awesome thing about the ports is now it is on the go! Alien Isolation looks amazing on the switch. Ark is passable for what it is. Incredible that you can even do anything close to ark. The Wolfenstwin stuff has been incredible. It is a really great system. Once modded it is an incredible system. Stuff like omnislash or the hd texture packs for the zelda games. My modded switch is how i discovered the world of english translated famicom disk system games. So much cool stuff you can do. I happily welcome bioshock and you should too!

I’m super stoked. I loved the first game on the 360, but lost the game while moving and I’ve never bought it again because wife had a bun in the oven (kid is almost 6 now). Never completed that game. Now, again, I try. I wasn’t very far to begin with.

The other day i took out my Galaxy S10+ and my friend who just got the iPhone 11 told me "I hate people with Androids because they're always so cocky and talk about how they're better than iPhones even though iPhones are much better." Sadly these ringtones are only compatible with android phones. Don’t get me wrong, I love my iPhone, but it’s not as “flexible” as an android. #lightsfire

I liked the first part, 2nd part just felt to me somehow plotless, soulless. Just dragging the same thing, didn't feel anything to pull me in and care to make progress. I passed the game but didn't leave any feeling to remember it or recommend it. Only thing I don't like about the series is the whole little sister thing, feels extremely weird and paedophilish :/
