Also don't forget to delete the ; in front of : ; dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x1
Huh, all of my currently changed settings don't have the semicolon removed and they take effect just fine.
how do .pk8 files work? do i just paste them inside the game's cheat folder?
You use those with PKHeX, not on-console cheats.

@Ultimos54 Can we get a separate thread for PKHeX questions and Cheat Codes? Nevermind. I started one.

Checked the Insta-Kill code from v1.0.0 in v.1.1.0. I just keeps everyone semi-alive at 0 HP. In a Raid, after turn 1, your entire team is in Cheer mode! During turn 1, your attacks land but since everything is locked at 0 HP and alive... nothing really happens.

Hello don’t know if this is the right place to ask this but I have 2 Switch one clean and one on Atmosphere and such.

I have a clean save on the clean Switch and I dumped the cartridge with NXdumptool to make a second save file to use the PKHex there on the Atmosphere Switch. After the update yesterday on 1.1 it needs update to even local trades so what I do? Is there a way to dump again with the update included? Should I connect on the internet and just update the game? Even Switch itself isn’t on latest firmware but I can do it with ChoiDujourNX

Any other option?

Here is some info about the Title ID and Build ID's. As of right now cheats don't work even if you change the name of the txt file, when you load up the game it just crashes. Hope we may get working cheats and an update on pkhex soon.

how does pkhex work?
Export save file with Checkpoint, load it into PKHeX on your PC, and drag and drop the .pk8 file into the PC Box
update on pkhex soon
PKHeX is updated already :)

You have to use the new list (that hasn't been translated yet) and also set atmosphere's settings to not load cheats automatically on launch, but it works.

This incorrect. Please read the most recent page or two to stay up-to-date!

From what I can tell, those codes are just codes that work in both v1.0.0 AND v1.1.0. (ie: Catch Rate is 100% is same in both versions.) I just have not bothered confirming them all because most of the ones on the list are things PKHeX already does and I am only concerned with things that only work while the game is actively running!

Mm, true. But at least it shows that cheats are possible to use without an Edizon update or a "master" code (à la Action Replay codes of old).

Tangentially related, but does anyone know if CaptureSight and/or RaidFinder still work with the new update?

Google Translate you LAZY people!! It works perfectly.

Side note: WTF is the purpose of having OFF codes? It's the stupidest thing since Square Wheels and Square Shinies!

In terms of the Chinese Code list...
In order based upon Google Translate:
  • [方块闪光] = Blocks Flash ~ aka Square Shiny
  • [星星闪光] = Stars Flash ~ aka Star Shiny
  • [闪光(关闭)] = Flash off ~ aka Shiny off
  • ss

From what i remember, if im not mistaken, some codes only work like this and doesnt have a toggle (hold a button) option and it made changes to the game internal data. So unless you turn on the "OFF" code, then even if you turn off the "ON" code, every encounter will still be shiny.

Side notes: these code works on both wild and den encounters. Though since its not a toggle option, every encounter will be shiny and you will have to go through the animations, even the trainer battles.

So, save your game and close the app! It's not rocket science! You don't need a code to do that! Just common sense. (The code list I have for v1.0.0 - I removed ALL the HOLD whatevers from the codes and deleted from my master list all the OFFs. You don't need them!)

ANYWHO... if someone is able to update the Insta-Kill to the same as in v1.0.0 that would be great as it works in SOLO Raids. Helps a lot for soloing the Event Promo Giganamax Pokemon!

But that makes no sense. Why spend the time resetting when you can just enable a code? What if you're in the middle of a chain and closing the game would break it?
I want the "off" one.

no, thats my point, even if you closed the game and turn off the 'on' code, when you turn on the game, the shiny code will still be activated. Since the code made changes to the game internal data.

No that can't be a thing. You can't change game data. It probably just changes RAM in such a way that even if you disabled the code it wouldn't change anything.
The "off" code is useful in this case.
