Being currently space year 2020 (didn't even have to backspace there, though that was mainly because I caught myself before I typed it) there are a lot of technological niceties in terms of storage, bandwidth, computing power and more besides that but a few years prior (though maybe longer) were far more limited or expensive to achieve things that today anybody can do.
What do you still have your mind twinge at despite no realistic chances of you exhausting a supply with that course of action.
If I left a video playback autoplay (1080p or better of course) to have as background noise does it cause a twitch? Even if I shot RAW on my camera I am unlikely to do too much damage to modern SDHC storage at crazy resolutions with multiple backup shots, even video is pushing it for the barest of curation, yet I will find myself worrying about that despite the far more likely problem that my battery will die (especially with flash). Do you still delete emails despite text being an even lesser issue? Does storing music (assuming you don't stream all the time) in lossless bother you?
I understand some of you still have bandwidth limits not only on mobile devices but on fully paid up home internet as well but not all of us suffer such fates.
Note I am not looking for far more reasonable "I don't like leaving things on standby" or "I close ports after I am done" type scenarios.
