TX Presents SX OS v2.9.3 BETA - Fully Supports v9.1.0

Team-Xecuter has updated their SX OS to support the latest Nintendo Switch firmware!

Great news, Team-Xecuter is back today, working hard on weekend, and releasing another update to their popular SX OS, with now v2.9.3 fully supporting the recently released v9.1.0 firmware by Nintendo, so everyone can enjoy their Switch console with latest & greatest in games & firmwares! :)
This update adds two things:
  • Compatibility with firmware 9.1.0
A few days ago, firmware 9.1.0 was released. While this is a minor update in terms of new functionality, we want to make sure that everyone who updated their console (or emuNAND) to 9.1.0 can still enjoy SX OS.
  • Compatibility with game titles that use newer encryption
Some (very) recent games would display as white boxes in the menu and/or could not be installed. This has been resolved. Enjoy the full compatibility!
That is all we have for today. We know everyone is eagerly anticipating news on our upcoming solution for patched consoles (fuse-patched, mariko, switch lite).. please hang in there, we will NOT disappoint you!
Please remember their latest version can always be found on their SX Portal Page, and for support join their TX Discord server! :)

Team executer are not the same team as the xbox360 days. They sold as did many others. Gateway, executer and a few others, are all the same company today. Json, garyopa and a few scene devs who moonlight for a little cash are also involved. From a business model standpoint, it just made sense. Put your politics aside and enjoy the piracy..... I dont know, but winging and getting butt hurt aint changing that. It is a capitolistic society after all.
It’s not about been butt hurt bro, my butt certainly doesn’t hurt one bit. I’ve been around the hacking scene for a very very long time I have worked with devs on projects, worked on lots of projects I know the signs. The sxos update has lots and lots of bugs that obviously TX couldn’t be bothered to fix on roll out even though it’s a beta build “no excuse” which I find quite bizarre considering they mainly base the operating system on full xci emulation support which is broken. I’ve seen it happen before and I know the consequences..

Edit: please don’t get me wrong here I love what TX do and sxos that’s not the issue here for me. I want them to carry on and do well, really! they just need to pull their socks up a bit get there shit together as a development team and fix up and move forward more positively. They need a team & head check and get the right working update out that every user deserves and can use without issues.

Just updated last night, ever since I've been getting black screens that force me to hard reset my switch if I try to use switch online in games. Only tested with SMM2 and SSBU, but it's consistent. Anyone else see this issue?

Yeah right, first to release a buggy support for 9.1.0.
Same with Atmosphere, which also has quite some bugs and breaking compatibility, which is not the fault of SciresM but just open source in general.

EDIT:
I'm not complaining, but they should take their time and not be in a rush to reduce as many issues as possible before even releasing their updates. Let people's dogs update their firmwares, it's their fault.

Guys,

I updated first to sxos 9.2.3,after that updated switch with choi to 9.1,and guess what, error code 2168-0002.
So i don't known if more have this problem or its the same shit as with the earlier update from sxos and choi.
Sdcard is 400gb formatted to fat32,checked against errors,no problems found.
Boots fine to original os.
Im getting teh same error, did you find a fix?

Sure, I'm not interested in war over SX and Atmos, I'm all for choice.

but... I'm glad that TX and SciresM kicked Nintendo's ass to defeat all attempts to thwart the homebrew with all "stability" BS by Nintendo.

I agree 100% thats why I set rule in my fb group that the members to respect everyone's choices on CFW.

Can someone confirm that everything is working fine with this update?
I can confirm it does not. Many installs go corrupt while the same installs didn’t on 9.0.1.

Edit: not sure what causes installs to fail. Might be something else than 9.1 on sx os 2.9.3. Trying some tests first
Edit2: Yes I am sure now that sx os 2.9.3 is preventing some games from being installed correctly. They complete the install, but the data is corrupted. Downgrading to 9.0.1 while using sx os 2.9.3 the problem persist, meaning the issue is 2.9.3 itself.

After updating SXOS, my joycons refused to pair with the system. They worked while connected directly in handheld mode, but once I unhooked them, they would never pair.

I went back to the 2.92 launcher and it fixed the issue but I don't understand how the SX launcher caused such a problem.

I’m new to this. Have an unpatched Switch on version 8.0 I think. Can I update to 9.1.0 before using SX OS for the first time? Or do I use SX OS first, and then update the synand to 9.1.0?

I would suggest getting sysnand to 9.1.0. Then create an emunand and downgrade that to 9.0.1. So use SX afterwards.
