Yes they are important but replaceable

but are you sure its a capacitor? it might be a fuse

Ooof that's directly from the USB-C port. Going towards the power management IC. So it's super important!

Your modchip won't work without it.

i just found an old pic from @mattytrog related to that part where he mentions that usb still works without it, but im still not sure about what it does or what it is...

the thing is, i can replace it but its so small im kinda scared its gonna be too hard.. so i wanna make sure is a must

It is a Murata DLP series DLP11S 90 ohm choke.

That component is actually a ferrite choke. Fine to bypass it. F**k the FCC
