Can NSUI modify existing GBA CIAs to disable the ghosting etc.? I want to fix my legit ambassador games but I'm not sure how to go about it. I've extracted the CIAs with GM9 but I'm a bit stuck at this point.

You probably can. but any modifying of the rom is going to make the ambassador game become non legit.

I have seen quite a few people having trouble with the snes CIAs with no one really giving an anwser, if you are getting an error code with the SNES CIAs install "luma locale switcher" and set the game location to USA. Worked for me.

Hello! I tried to run A link to the past on the SNES virtual console but I either get black screens or this error code. I tried to use both us and eu versions of the game. Is it the game? Should I try the emulator forwarders? Which emulator is better?

I'm trying to create a .cia from the homebrew GBA conversion of "Elite The New Kind". It works, except I can't seem to find the right settings to make save games work. The .gba, when launched through Twiilight/GBARunner, can save files successfully.
You can find the file by googling "Elite – The New Kind V1.7.1 BY FLUBBA"
I'm on beta27

I also noticed that the title song doesn't sound quite right. On GBARunner, or using the old GBA injector / mGBA, it sounds better.

Desktop mGBA creates the raw *.sav file at 32.0 KB for this game. Try SRAM/FRAM 256k.

If I create a project in beta27 and load the ROM, it says that it can't detect the save file method. In the pull down at the bottom I can't select anything. When I use the old Ultimate Injector, I can select a method, but none of them work. Thanks for your help.

  1. Open the Elite - The New Kind *.gba rom in HxD editor.
  2. Edit the block 0xAC-AF from [ 00 00 00 00 ] to [ 41 4D 54 45 ] and save the edited rom.
    • This will change the rom's serial code to AMTE or Metroid Fusion (USA).
    • Metroid Fusion uses a SRAM/FRAM 256k save type.
  3. If the save type is still wrong, try serial codes of other games and save types.

Thanks... To bad... Does the stabdalone work well?? The discussion on the threat is is , but sounds like it is not optimized.

If it's buggy I keep on using the emulator.
I've only used it for two games, which worked perfectly fine, but it's seems to be hit or miss. Some games will work fine, others won't, you'll have to try it yourself.

I don't know if this' s been posted before, but I have a small feedback.

I am using Beta 26.
My screen has a DPI of 150% and most of the right size of the GUI is cut in half. Maybe this can be fixed in a future release to help with usability.
Thanks

Hi. I'm having problems with the GBA game Drill Dozer (U). While all the info loads when i open the ROM on NSUI Beta 27, it doesn't detect the ROM Save Type. It just says "none" and there's no other option. All my other ROMs have one of multiple save options for the GBA VC INjection method. Any idea how to fix this? I know the ROM works and saves, i've tested a palyed a bit on my PC using Retroarch's mGBA Core. I had sucesslly injected other three GBA games using NSUI Beta 27, but this the first time the happen.
