Hi,
i bought a used hacked nintedo switch , the original owner told me that he didn't use emunand.
now i want to use an emunand, should i format the switch before following the guide ? or was the sysnand on his sd card.
thanks !

Unless you plan on using online play, there isn't much of a reason to use an emuNAND.
would you still be able to buy stuffs from the eshop ? i am ok with doing a factory reset if that would help me get a clean sysnand
also i don't have his sd card , do i just follow the installing cfw on sysnand guide ?
thanks for helping me out !

If you're going to buy stuff from the eShop, instead of downloading backups, you should use an emuNAND for all hack-related things, and you should use a clean sysNAND for the eShop.

If you don't care about online services like online play or the eShop, you don't need an emuNAND.
