Hello everybody. I've recently hacked the vWii side of my Wii U so I could use Wiiflow and run backups from the microSD. Before that I was using VC Injects, which worked fine but were a nuisance to set up and install and occupied a ton of space in my USB memory. Now, running games from the SD card, things couldn't be better.
However, there are some things which I could do with the Wii VC Injects that I'm not sure I'm able to do now that I'm using Wiiflow. One, for instance, is using the Wii U Gamepad as a Wii Classic Controller. I know I could do this on the Wii VC Injects because I did it - I set up a custom installation of Mario Kart Wii where I could both use the Gamepad as a Wii Classic Controller and the Wiimotes as well, but I had to do it by hand. Using a different example altogether, I know the official Wii U VC release of Xenoblade Chronicles patched the game so you could play it either with the Wii Remotes + Nunchuck but also with the Gamepad as a Classic Controller, something which I believe wasn't possible if you only had the disc version of the game.
So, to keep things short: is there any way to use the Gamepad as a Classic Controller on homebrew such as Wiiflow or any other SD card .wbfs loader? Be it via the homebrew itself, by patching the .wbfs files, or something else altogether? I know I can do it if I use custom VC injects, but as I've said, space in my USB memory is very limited; so if I could use it via the vWii homebrews, however that is, it would be great help. I know both the Wii U Gamepad and the Pro Controller work on nintendont, so I wonder if they can work on other homebrew as well!
