Hardware Usb external 8 GB drive need a quick answer for a sale

Could I use Seagate Desktop 8TB External Hard Drive HDD – USB 3.0 for PC Laptop and Mac (STGY8000400). On a original Wii that came from the factory when they were originally released. It is modded and the sale ends tonight so hopefully for a quick yes or no.

In theory yes, but drives larger than 2TB can cause issues and are not recommended. If you want to play Gamecube games with Nintendont you have to format the drive as FAT32 which caps at 2TB, so purchasing a 2TB or smaller drive would be the best option.

That was my idea I believe the entire gamecube collection is 600gb could I not just partion it into smaller portions and still work
