An AOC 31.5" WQHD WLED IPS panel Freesync monitor to replace my ageing but still nice to use Asus PG 191. It was already a bargain at full price but the 25% discount I got was just too good to refuse. Just need a new graphics card to make the most of it.

My 3 years old SONY Bravia TV decided to die just the day before this whole "cyber-week" / black friday shit started, and it dies in some very software "programmed obsolescence" fashion. I know you couldn't take this seriously from someone wearing a tinfoil hat, but I smell foul play here.

So I ended up getting an LG C9 for "black friday" and I am kind of annoyed enough with SONY to skip buying from them for the next 10 generations or so.

PS: of course I buy online, I wouldn't get out of my cave to fight with smelly misbehaved fanatics over the last box or so in a stupid overcrowded sale.

That's strange because LG sucks big time. Been used Sony for many many years since my old Sony LCD and LED doesn't came with smart tv so I sold LCD Sony to my friend and still have LED Sony non smart and my brother wants it. We have an Android TV Sony LED brand new 50 inches this year. Very happy with Sony in the past. Never had a problem. To be honest LG sucks since it was made in South Korea just like Kai car sucks big time!

And when looking for how to solve this problem in forums a year ago I also saw many people having the eternal reboot problem and never being able to solve it, it was a ticking bomb and I was hoping it never happened to me, but in the end it happened. And regarding LGC9 OLED, it is considered the best TV of the year (regarding picture quality/price) by many reviewers... but that is not the point, I would have even bought an "OK." TV before going for SONY again, I am sour as hell.

And now also SONY keeps giving me reasons to be annoyed: I just wanted to buy a couple of games in the German PSN store today, you know discounts/etc., but it seems that if you happen not to be German then SONY Germany will take your EU-Passport, give zero fucks about it and tell you "I can't verify your age Ausländer, fuck you won't sell to you!"... the sourness just won't stop. I guess if Ouya ever produced a new console I would go even for that instead of a PS5 given how sour I am today.

I understand your point but I am very happy with Sony TV in the past and still today. Off the point, I don't have a problem with Bank of America. That's named of Bank I went. My friend had bad experienced with BOA. Gave it up but I never had a problem with BOA for over 10 years now.

I don't care about PSN so that is not the point either. By the way, sorry about your experienced, thought. Guess everyone have pros and cons for everything. Not everyone are having the same experienced, you know.

just one thing really: 1tb micro sd card for $200 (free shipping). my item hasn't shipped yet, but amazon has already taken the money out for it. I returned my original card, since it was free shipping for returns. I had bought it for $300, but I found a better deal. they were selling 1TB micro sd cards for $200 for about 20 hours or maybe something like that. my current switch card only has 4GBs left on it. anyway, I'm a little apprehensive, because I have a feeling they may have sold more than they had, then I'd be out for a card I need.

Well cyber Monday could work too. I honestly never buy bigger SD cards as I just feel they aren't as though as external Hard drives, yet my Toshiba hard drive broke and I lost tons of stuff..

speaking of whether or not black Friday is still great, I'd say yes. however, it's more about being at the computer for good sales now rather than relying on finite space if you go to a store. plus, black Friday where I live was a very cold, rainy day. I wouldn't be camping out under those conditions.

It kinda sucked this year. I only got a pair of earphones and some games on Steam. I would also get the Steam Controller but it was constantly out of stock and shipping was literally double the price.

Ordered a 43" LG 4K HDR TV, to replace the super old 32" 1080p one in my bedroom. Was $230, which is pretty ok these days.

And then ordered 5 different custom canvas prints to add some family pictures to the house for a whopping $54 ish.

And that was it. I don't usually buy into the whole black Friday craze, cuz the deals are barely ever good unless their shit quality products or old stock that needs to be gotten rid of.
