Need a hacked switch with a homebrew called checkpoint to inject the save file. But first you need to dump your save file with checkpoint.Guys brand new here. How do you actually download this save onto the switch?

Also for those not sure. I just traded myself the legendary pkmns from my hacked 8.0.1 switch to my clean 9.0.1 switch via legit game using the face 2 face local trade option as the OP stated.
Looks like I'll be doing alot of pkhexing today
The ID is a big deal if you go online in sysnand. Thats exactly what got me banned in Smash bros just by clicking the online option in the menu. B/c the copy I paid for did not match the unique ID of the save file that I got from someone else. This only matters if you ever decide to do online battles. The ID is generated by the game itself
Well you got me there on the selling bit, the save file was edited and b/c splatoon/ssb are major competitive games anything hacking related is highly possible for a ban since its an anti hack checkup. Pokemon only has a legitimacy checkup towards pokemon which isn't the same as an Anti hack. Are you saying that your issue was because you used the save from someone else and there were more than 1 save files with the same save ID connecting to the servers?
Because if not I find it hard to believe that it would be down to the fact that the game didn't match where the save came from. What if you have the game and then sell it and buy it again down the line? That shouldn't be the reason for a ban.
I know that modified Smash saves had a high risk of being banned from online because there was a bunch of information from those saves that was sent so they could see if they had been tampered with in certain ways.
Mainly questioning it because I moved my leaked Let's Go Eevee save data to my legit cart and never had any repercussions after going online, and I've done the same with Sword and haven't had any issues with that thus far either.

Just smash, but both console/account are banned from online activity within the app. I had to buy another Switch and create a new account to regain that privilege.Yeah I figured that was the case with those two games. Just wanted to make sure I hadn't missed some kind of information that I wasn't aware of.
Was it just Smash that you were banned from or was it the entire console? I'm guessing it was just Smash but thought I'd ask for clarity anyway.
And the only limitation is to not go online with Pokémon not part of the 400 something in sword and shield ? He said not to go online with legendaries and I already see myself getting drunk with pkhex power so I need to double check before i share with friends
on pkhex all of his pokemon on the saves say not legit
