I need more precision, where was fb3ds installed, and how were you running it? Because the only way you'd lose B9S with Cakes is if you updated while the firm protection patches were off.

Fastboot was installed in Firm0 And Firm1 and i didn't update i just booted and my 3ds turned off and now it seems to have uninstalled everything related to b9s and cfw

Did you boot to home menu or you only went into the settings screen?

If the former, what's your FW version? And where did you download Cakes from?

Well, I don't know what to tell you. I use it on a daily basis, and this is not a thing that just happens.

You should probably give more information about what you were doing, and what happened.
I've gotten a solution on the homebrew discord, I'm gonna use another homebrewed 3ds to use stickerhax to install b9s with frogtool (bb3 won't work and pichaxxx is out of range bc eshop is asking for sys update)

That is not what I asked you about.

All i did was boot cakesfw and then my system powered off and now i don't have any b9s or fastboot3ds and cakes isn't even on my system anymore.

You're leaving out a lot of information, for instance what files did you use, where did you place them, what exact method you used to boot the firm, what firmware version you were on, did it even boot into 3DS home menu or did it just power off on its own after CakesFW menu showed up, etc. and most importantly, the exact download you got it from.

There are a lot of user error reasons why this could have happened, but simply booting Cakes, even with firmprot off, wouldn't overwrite firm0/firm1. Otherwise it's possible that something breaks on much older FWs, but you never said what FW you were on despite me asking. 11.4/11.8/11.12 I've personally tested, and there are no issues with.

The only other reason I could think of is if someone made a fake firm specifically designed to restore native firm to firm0/firm1 and passed it off as CakesFW.

You could also try holding L on boot, in case you actually wrote Cakes to firm0, in which case you might be able to stick SafeB9SInstaller at the root of your SD card with the filename "iderped.firm", but I really doubt you would have accidentally done this without realizing it.

I am on 11.12 and I booted cakes.firm with gm9 and i used the firmware.bin and the cetk for my console, when i booted my system was black for a minute and then it turned off, when i turned it back on there we're no signs of cfw. I got the firmware from https://github.com/mid-kid/CakesForeveryWan/releases
