To make a long story short I want to dump links awakening dx, but cant find one, could someone out there take a pic of there title ID from FBI so I can look under that directory instead.

NOW here's a story about why I've decided to ask this question.

So I'm trying to dump my Game-boy roms from my 3ds.
I am currently using an non-hacked 3ds but I have a hack 2ds so I was just going to look in my tile folder though GM9 grab the game file, mount it, extract the rom, put the rom onto my pc, and then put my sd card back into my 3ds.
sdcard\Nintendo 3DS\
When I look onto http://www.3dsdb.com/ I can only find one entry for links awakening dx.

You see I looked under :\Nintendo 3DS\d9f0221b19e32b185a21c3e4ee3aad15\1adb01164215b6aa5344344700284245\title then I entered the 00040000 folder and could not find a sub folder with the name 00042A00.
I am vary stupid if this is the only title ID for this game then could someone tell me what directory I might find the game in, if at all?

Nand maybe. Also how u decrypting it with out the keys from your unhacked 3ds. If im not mistaken u cant just switch memory cards and the 2ds read the 3ds installed games. They are encrypted with console specific keys

I found a this
https://gbatemp.net/threads/extracting-roms-out-of-virtual-console-titles.479894/
were a user here said
"yea, just dump the .cia file and mount it in gm9, the romfs should be in one of the directories. just tried that out this morning"
I've used that before so I don't need to decrypt it I'm not gonna try to run it on cytra i just am dumping them. Isn't the nand a system file like on the system itself?

That's the EUR entry/titleID, which would be why you're not finding it if you have a USA version. (I'm assuming you do based on your profile flag)

I don't have the TID on me, but you should be able to go to each of those title folders and with either the .tmd or .app check its title info. Which will tell you the name and show the icon for that title.

I WAS RIGHT, but yes I got a USA copy, thank you. How would one go about checking the .tnk or the .app to find that info? I forgot to mention I did a system transfer a wile back and I don't have any home brew on the 2ds system, nor could I being I'm using the sd card from a different system, so I only have GM9. (and what ever other mumbo jumbo was put on there when I hacked it)

Here's an example for Ocarina of Time:
In GodMode9 you can go to
A:/title/00040000/00033500/content/<some number>.app
And after selecting it, choose "NCCH image options...", then "Show title info"
Or
A:/title/00040000/00033500/content/<some number>.tmd
And after selecting it, choose "TMD file options...", then "Show title info"

I tried this with some random game or program I found that there was no "TMD file options" or "NCCH image options" but I could chose shoe file info but I only got the file size, a last modified date, and some options:
[] (up arrow) read only
[] (right arrow) system virtual
[] (down arrow) hidden
[x] (left arrow) archive

That's not the correct info.
If there really isn't a "TMD file options" or "NCCH image options" on your *.app/*.tmd then mayhaps you would need to be doing this on the 3DS it came from.

The only alternative I can think of if you want to avoid that would be using ninfs to search for/dump it directly to PC.
I don't think you can even dump/mount it with gm9 if those options aren't showing up for you.

USA Title ID for that game is 0004000000042700

And anyways, how you are supposed to dump it without the origin 3ds keys/movable.sed?
Well you see I just thought I'd try, but there's no trying if you can find the dang thing.
I found this thread
https://gbatemp.net/threads/extracting-roms-out-of-virtual-console-titles.479894/
and I found that you just copy the file out then mount it to GM9.
I out of what people are saying on this tread I don't know if I can do it without hacking the 3ds... I also don't know anything about keys, I used to do the same process on the 2ds before I did a file transfer with out looking for keys or anything so..

.app AFAIK are still encrypted with console unique keys so of course you won't find the Mount Image To Drive option. What I can suggest is to use bruteforcemovable to get the origin 3ds movable.sed
"bruteforcemovable"
sounds intence
what is it, what does it do, and would I have to put CFW onto the 3ds?

It's actually a site where you have to just friend a bot.. Then i guess you could just use the movable to decrypt the app.
SOOOO using the movable.sed and ninf could I get a dump of the game and just cut out GM9? Again I've never used a movable.sed before. This is interesting.

Actually you can temporarily replace your hacked console movable with the movable from the origin 3ds then dump the .app and put the hacked console movable back in it's place

P.S Using GM9
That's cool.
To make sure I get this right

use my friend code to friend a bot that will then extract a movable.sed
copy out my hacked sed and put it into a safe place
take the unhacked sed (put it on the sd card in a folder?)
then boot GM9 find the game and copy it out, mount it fin the folder with the achual rom, extract the rom
THEN
put the original sed back into the folder.

Is there any reason I souldn't just leave my unhacked sed on the hacked system?

Because stuff is encrypted to work with the hacked movable plus 100% your console won't boot with it

I just realized this... may still work lol?(Let me try with my console and i'll tell you if it does)

Basically.. The movable.sed is in CTR NAND/private/

I have b9s and a ntrboot card so even if i brick i don't really care lol, + it would just be a system not booting(black screen) brick that can just be fixed by placing a working movable back

P.S the bruteforcemovable site is not working with me right now so i can't test that)
