R.I.P. YouTube Ad revenue

Is it just me, or every YouRube video is demonitized, even if you play a song you don't own in the video, and crap?

I don't make profit for making videos, because they all don't get any views, and because on Modern YouTube, you can't go 3 minutes without getting a video demonitized!

It feels like UMG is a dictator.

They do seem to have pretty stringent requirements. Perhaps you could use one of their free license songs next time?

If you have under 1000 subs and get less then I think it was 10K of views a year, they took away all monetization. I lost all of mine around the beginning of the year cause I didn't meet the views requirement. I pretty much just stopped after that. It's funny cause stuff that is well over 5 years old has been getting strikes lately, I'm shocked my channel hasn't been killed yet.

Yeah I don't think all of those companies pulling their ads helped with any of this. So YouTube is going to pull tighter on the rope now sadly.

yeah like you said it is a monopoly
some people are shifting to bitchute , but i am finding really unreliable ,half the time i can't get videos to load
i really don't what it is going to take for the majority of the userbase to go full nasim Aghdam on them
they seem to put up with any level of abuse
