i did what you said, atm i have constant frames like 30-40 fps ... i dont know if the overclock is working properly because with and without overclock my frames is the same i think.... (using sys-clk editor)
Make sure your switch is plugged in with official charger. Overclock won't work without.

Hi all,
Looking for some clarification, I'm struggling to get anything higher than 30 FPS, although I did achieve the possibility to force different resolutions. Let me share my activities, according to the guide:

Emunand 9.0.1
SXOS 2.9.2
The Witcher 3 01003D100E9C6000, PT-BR language patch

Steps I did checking the guide
1) To install the 60 FPS patch, downloaded TW3-60FPS.zip and installed in folder.
sdcard:\SXOS\exefs_patches\W3-60FPS\7D0794DC20FAF372B79B20D74DC2F481.ips
2) Resolution tweaks. Got a save file, edited settings file with the config below. Restored the save file using Checkpoint.
sdcard:\switch\Checkpoint\saves\0x01003D100E9C6000 The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\20191027-181729 icewarp\user.settings\settings.txt

[Rendering]
DynamicResolutionOverride=0
DRRequireCameraMove=1
DRIgnoreCPU=1
DRIgnoreVsync=1
DRGameTargetFrameTimeInMs=14.0
DRCinematicTargetFrameTimeInMs=14.0

DRIncreaseResolutionMargin=1
DRIncreaseResolutionMarginMultiply=1
DRCinematicIncreaseResolutionWaitTimeInMs=607.5
DRCinematicDecreaseResolutionWaitTimeInMs=101.5
DRGameIncreaseResolutionWaitTimeInMs=945.0
DRGameDecreaseResolutionWaitTimeInMs=157.5

3) Overclocked switch using sys-clk with the following settings.

handheld_cpu=1326
handheld_gpu=460
handheld_charging_gpu=768
handheld_charging_official_cpu=1785
handheld_charging_official_gpu=921
handheld_mem=1600
docked_cpu=1785
docked_gpu=921

Overclock logs:

[2019-11-02 10:25:31.845] [mgr] Memory clock set : 800.0 Mhz

Results: 832x468 fixed resolution, but never beyond 30FPS docked or handheld.

Am I missing any step in order to achieve the 60 FPS on The Switcher?

did you look at this?
handheld_charging_gpu=768
handheld_charging_official_cpu=1785
handheld_charging_official_gpu=921

more than 30fps wont happening in handheld because this game It already struggling for 30fps with lowest resolutions + highest safe clock for handheld mode (460mhz - and I don't see in your logs that your gpu clock higher than this). If you want more only thing you can do is play while charging or play with very low res while on docked mode.

Edit: Did you restore your save after step 2?
Edit 2: why title ID in your logs is Link's Awakening (01006BB00C6F0000), not your Witcher 3 id? It should change each time you open another title...

    Yes, I restored after step 2 - the config is there because the resolution is fixed at the one I have chosen - I chose the lowest resolution to get more FPS.
    You may ignore Link's awakening data, I was just testing it it too.

    I have upload a clean log from a docked test, looks like sys-clk is setting the new clocks, but the system is putting it back at standard clocks. No idea what is the cause of this.

    These are the screenshots with my Witcher version and video settings, everything at low, except Sharpness.

    I never go beyond the 30 FPS, maybe is a clock issue.

    And do you have an update installed?

    I have portuguese language dlc patch installed on sdcard:\SXOS\titles\01003D100E9C6000.

I don't meany any DLC and whatever. "Game update". If your version of game is 3.4 (if you think it's 1.60, you are checking wrong info), then it's updated.

From the screenshots seem the patch was not working for you, but overclocks was working (as you stay stable at 540p - which was the highest dynamic resolution you choosed - without OC you might constantly get drop lower than 540p), if you want lowest resolution for more fps just leave dynamic res override =-1, because other resolutions settings will give you inventory glitches and if the patch working properly, your resolution will stay at lowest until it meet your target frametime, and even without editing save settings your framerate won't stay stable at 30 fps (like it will jump to 32-36 fps something...)

p/s: upload your screenshots in your post directly next time

It takes zero effort to not be a dick.
Not being a dick in my opinion. If you can't figure it out then that's unfortunate for you. Just being honest, the instructions are very clear. You can't fault the OP for being like that. Too many mods, too many people not getting simple instructions from what I'm seeing on other past posts too when the instructions were very clear. Stop and breath and try to figure it out. I'm sure you'll get it eventually. If not, then just hope you'll find someone patient enough to walk you through

I'm a dick for people who ale talking bs and tries to blame author for their stupidity or laziness.

I should quote 3/4 of my op to show your post is full of crap?

I took many hours to write instructions and write app examples, but no... For you this are just random words.

Just a small little update, finally made my way to Skellige after hours spent in and around Novagrad. Am happy to report 720 is definitely doable if you're not an fps junky. I honestly do think I'm pushing 30 on some of the less intense scenes and frame stutter hardly amounts to much. Here are the settings I'm using, the hit to foliage visibility was definitely worth it. Also keep in mind I am using the maximum overclock allowed by the editor.

It definitely is.. though I use a custom resolution myself which is very close to 720p for me to get 30 - 40 fps using the 60fps mod. That plus the motionblur mod I got from Discord.. the game is now very enjoyable.

Can someone explain how to use this or make a video showing what to do? The instructions just say the codes under the three tabs, but not what to do with it or what program to use.

What to do with the codes?
"Each color is different instruction with different config.
Red - Handheld width
Green - Handheld height
Brown - Docked width
Pink - Docked height
...."
They clearly are explained here, each of them stand for the number of resolution width, height... or you didn't even think of what's those resolutions for?

What program to use? Yeah you clearly didn't even read

"Open file 7D0794DC20FAF372B79B20D74DC2F481.ips with hex editor (for example HxD)"

Can anyone explain or upload a video on how to unlock 60 FPS? I’m not sure what I need to do. Do I download a program on the switch or computer? I put the patches folder on my switch and restarted, but I don’t know what to do next. If anyone can assist without being an ass about it like OP I’d appreciate it.

If numerous people aren’t understanding the instructions they are not simple. Just because they’re simple to you does not mean it’s simple. Also if you’re not going to help, next time do us both a favor and don’t reply.
