Hi ,
I have a SYSNAND on 4.1 and EMUNAND on 9.0.1 ,, after the upgrade of emunand "from 4.1 cloned from SYSNAND" , legend of zelda game card is not working ..
card is still working on SYSNAND ..
N.B : i prefer playing from game card to save space of SD card , did some progress in the game in EMUNAND environment , better to proceed playing from EMUNAND .
game card is on 1.3.1 ...
Thanks in advance

You can't. 9.x.x comes with an update to the gamecart reader. If you want your card to be read on 9.x.x, you have to update the gamecart reader. However, that renders it unusable on your sysnand. So it's either gamecart works on emunand or gamecart works on sysnand. Your choice.

To update your gamecart reader, disable nogc.

There was one in 4.1? And then one in 9. Which cfw are you using and which loader (payload) are you using? Nogc is the flag that tells the cfw to not update the GameCart reader. I can give you directions based on your answer to my question above.

Please note you will lose the ability to read physical games in any nand on system software less than 9.x.x. i don't think it's a reversible update.

yea will just dump the card ...
good thing that default is enable nogc
side question , when i use lockpick , to convert from xci to nsp , is should do that for emunand "not SYSNAND" and i should do it each time i upgrade FW , correct ?

Lockpickrcm is for dumping keys. You use that on emunand since you will be installing to emunand.
Each time a new key is available. Usually after every firmware update but not always.
