Can you share the program or process you are using to edit the file? There are a few people in this thread (myself included) that would love to help fix up the translation file, but we don't know how to open it or where to even begin.

apparently its opened by a nintendo sdk which is used by developers apparently from what i have been reading.

I had found a tool that can uncompress and compress the file, but the file compressed is different from the orgin, so we could wait for the JokerD's tool.
And..the uncompress function is good.

xkj is the new version, 100% patched

Yes, only need to rename the folder to the titleid of the asian version and change de JA in the file to KR or TW depending on the language used.

This is not a patch, only replace the language loaded with the english one and yes, its works with the asian version:

Yeah I know it's not a patch but rather than writing out all of what it is I find it is easier just to refer to it as a patch as it essentially patches over the games actual language from the file folder you have on your switch now to translate it to English and read my post I edited it to say I got it working lol

My Switch sometimes crashes while playing it (I dunno if it is the patch, but other games just work fine). Tested with Atmosphere 0.9.4.

So the file provided by OP is able to change language to Chinese as well? Because I tried changing the file name to TW but it just reverted back to Japanese.
I started the game already.. So I don't really want to restart with a Chinese version of the game...

The crashes so far have only happened when I either open Saibara's shop menu or press minus to view the farm map. It's probably just the game being crashy though, cause 'random' crashing does happen with specific games from time to time.

Still, after about 70 hours only 5 crashes is not the worst luck I've ever had. Okami or Vesperia would hold that record.

It's just to change language to English, both on japanese and asian version, I don't think it will change to Chinese

Ah okay, figures.. I don't think it's possible to transfer save file or open my save with CN version?

Funnily enough I haven't had any crashes in Yuzu. Almost to Summer 1 now.

I'm using atmosphere 0.9.4 and am on 8.1.0 on sysnand, I don't have emunand, using the Japanese version of the game, and have had no crashes. I am on Autumn 19 of the first year.

I extracted the game files and have the original chinese game file. Place it in the same file path as the OP file. Change the "TW" in the file name to whatever languages your game has (JA for japanese version of the game, etc).
