Nintendo seem to be shipping games to stores later now to prevent early leaks so don't expect more than 2-3 days in advance, 4 if we're lucky.

The last 2 games in the series (Sun & Moon, Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon) leaked over 10 days in advance. Not saying we should expect leaks early but if/when it happens it won't be out of the ordinary as it has happened many times in the past

Yes it did
EDIT: LGPE was leaked on the 10th, almost a week before release

More so, what's the best way to find out when it leaks?
Last time with Let's Go I would check the forums here daily, as well as a download site.
I think with SuMo there was a thread where we'd report on the status.

I wouldn't expect anything like the Smash Ultimate leak. But it will probably leak 2-3 days before official release.

quite the opposite smash was like 2 weeks in advance I expect pokemon to be about a week or two as well

7-10 days before release is kind of standard, has been for decades. as if gamefreak/nintendo would not ship from factory till 2-3 days before release and risk half the world not being able to buy it on release day.

@carlitoB123 That stopped being true some time ago.
Now we can only hope for maybe two or three days earlier.
A review copy may leak before that, but they usually dont get those titles much sooner than a few days before anymore either.
Nintendo changed their tactics in regards to that some time ago.

Well, we are 8 days away and no leaks yet

My guess is that there'll be an XCI by the weekend.

I've already preordered digital so I should be able to get it by the 15th
