hi all,
since in two weeks from now, on October 31st, Luigi's mansion 3 is coming out wroldwide, (also Brexit on the same day & Halloween), lol what a day I'll be.

I was thinking on getting it, but im not quite there yet.

what im puzzled on is:

1) is LM 3 like LM 1 or totally different?
I really loved LM 1 on GC back in (2002/3) and im nearly done with the 3ds remake of it on my new 3ds xl,
it's that easy and fun to play, the controls are great, no issues. it's a classic :) .

2) tho, while I love LM 1, I can't say the same for LM 2 (2013) on 3ds, I hate it's controls, and gameplay is okay I guess?
lm 2 is nothing like lm 1 was.

3) im reading that lm 3 is mostly centered/geared for gameplay of lm 2, but since it is on switch, it'll be way better to play/handle than the awful lm 2 on 3ds?

I just wanna be sure that is game is wroth the 60e before I buy it as im not 100% sure on wehieter to buy it or not yet.

thanx

If you're unsure you're probably better waiting until release and checking out reviews and general impressions from everyone. Pre-ordering games in general is a bad idea.

Also, for what it's worth, I've heard this game is more of a LM1 throwback. I believe it all takes place in one mansion as opposed to being split up like Dark Moon, so the exploration and progression should be more reminiscent of the original. I'm not sure about the controls specifically but between handheld and using a controller with the dock you should be able to find something comfortable, right?

excellent i hated DM. just hope it lasts longer this time the original you can beat in just a few hours

yeah, DM was weird, LM I was awesome, so classic yet so good even after years.

im on the fence with getting/not getting LM 3, after watching some trusted reviews (gameXplain, IGN, Happy console gamer)
im a bit more sure about wither or not to get it.
well, how bad could it be on the switch? can't be worse than DM on 3ds, can it?
