Just wanted to confirm if anyone else having issues with Star Wars Episode I Racer and Vigilante 8 2nd Offense please?

Racer launches but freezes on main title
Vigilante crashes into Atmosphere reboot right after Dreamcast boot up sequence

Racer launches but freezes on main title
Vigilante crashes into Atmosphere reboot right after Dreamcast boot up sequence
For pod racer just spam start button until you reach the title screen

Nice. Does it use some kind of generic resolution/aspect searching? Was only looking into widescreen patches since I learned they were a thing yesterday, and created a whole bunch of cheat files to enable it for certain games.

And how long does it normally take for those changes to make it to the buildbot, specifically the Switch one?


Edit: I'll mention it here because it doesn't seem worthy of github, but there's an issue with the radio stations/music in MSR 1.009 where the volume doesn't seem to work for the music. If volume is 0 it doesn't play, but if it's 1-100 it will be at the one volume. Don't know if it affects other titles that have music/redbook audio or not.

Have you tried the European versions for these? San Francisco Rush 2049 (U) crashed in the title screen but the (E) version runs great!

Someone else had mentioned a similar problem with another game on Github, turns out disabling DIV matching fixes the problem.

Side question: What exactly is DIV matching?

Edit: How long do commits usually take to reach the Switch build? Wanna fiddle with the new implementation of widescreen hacks.

i just tested capcom vs snk 2 it runs almost flawlesly, btw anyone know how to import a save with all characters and ex grooves?

Put your desktop VMU files into the same folder that you have your BIOS in from the testing I did. If you haven't set it up with a custom path like yours truly did some time ago, that would be the system folder!

Take vmu.bin file that retroarch creates. Download a save from gamefaqs. Use VMU explorer to open your vmu.bin & import save from gamefaqs.
