TX Presents SX OS v2.9 BETA - With Full v9.0 Firmware Support!

NEW UPDATE FIXES UPGRADE ISSUES!

**********************************************

Good day, fans and believers! We hope you are all having a good weekend.

Team-Xecuter has done it again, they have updated their world-famous SX OS to now support the latest v9.0 Switch firmware from Nintendo.
Today, we bring you a much needed update of SX OS. Full compatibility with the latest Switch firmware 9.0! Sorry that we kept you waiting, we wanted to make sure all our unique features still properly work.

Additionally, we also introduced support for the "Horizon split format". This means that people who use FAT32 can have folders named 'game.xci' with split parts contained therein (named 00, 01, 02, etc.). Make sure the folder has the 'archive' bit set.

We know you are waiting for some other big features in SX OS, they are coming.. We wanted to get this compatibility update out first though.

So what are you waiting for? SX OS 2.9 beta is available for download on our website now! (and also through the builtin online updater part of SX OS.)

That's cool, but some people prefer to not install the files, otherwise we'd just use NSP files instead of XCI

Yip,thats why we use it on SXOS. To try a new game simply requires a copy of the XCI loaded on the SD card.No need to wait for it to install

This works for most played games, but the it doesnt even take 5 seconds to load a new game if you only scanning the SD card

I've personally never had an SXOS related issue,so for all intents and purposes it actually worked for me all this time without issue
Did anyone managed to create and boot a 9.00 emunand with SX os 2.9 ?

I tried 3 times on a switch 9.00 without success.

Thx !

I was able to boot 9.0 emunand on TX SX but xci loading is broken for me

Split nand, SD Files, or Emunand?
I don't think it makes a difference and probably have to wait for a fix but would be useful to note in case somebody else has the issues as well

It's an emunand with files on SD.
Didn't try others options.

I ended up downgrading to 8.1.0

Loaded Atmosphere and ChoiDujourNXv102 - Downgraded

Loaded tx sx os back up and all xci work again

thx for the answer.

So you created the 9 emunand with sx os 2.9 and then downgraded it with ChoixDuJourNx and it worked ?

I don't want to downgrade my sysnand.

............
btw: I went on a 2 week holiday and loaded up my 4TB 2.5" portable USB HDD with XCI images. While on the cruise I would play a few different games with the USB HDD attached direct to the switch to get an idea what the games were about and then I would install the XCI with tinfoil direct to my SD card so I didn't need the USB HDD connected. I could then play the game while sitting on the deck and drinking............
Well, 1TB mSD A2 spec got released a few time ago, sadly here it costs around 500€, but with time we will get there... I'm stuck with 128GB A1 for now...

Anyway is there anyway to install NSP to HDD or USB pen drive?? On a friend's console it didn't show up any option to install to USB sadly, only internal storage\mSD...

And my biggest USB pen drive doesn't load up on SX OS either anyway, but its a very old 32GB USB 3.0 pen drive from like 2010, never cared to buy anything better as it was enough for all the X360 games back then and I have a 1TB HDD inside the X360, the 32GB pen drive was just to move games fast from PC to the Xbox and now I only use it to play some music in the car anyway :).

Though I have a 4TB Seagate external HDD bought it a few months ago to remove everything from my PC HDD just for storage.

Two weeks ago i migrated my sx emunand to atmosphere emummc, after reading all this what happened with 2.9 sx update i will never go back. It was a nice run with sx but i think atmosphere is just a lot more stable.

Could you help me out with a guide on how to do this migration? I think i also wanna do this. Thanks!

Sx users don't seem to bash atmosphere anywhere near as much when they all required it to fix there broken console.

SX users hardly bash atmosphere but on the contrary the atmosphere users are ALWAYS bashing SX OS... I really don't get it you guys are a poor or just socialists that think you have the right to tell us what we should do or not with our money, because some people decided to spend a couple of bucks on an easier plug n play CFW?

Maybe they're just envy, at least I don't like wasting so much time on things I dislike.
To me TX only deserves the money even only for being the ones that started the whole cfw thing while all the others where busy teasing and with "it's too early" "I don't support piracy" bs.

Apart from all the drama going on with team xecuters 2.9Beta release, I have found out it does look like Nintendo have actually optimised the WiFi adapter drivers on firmware 9.0 before running a test I was getting roughly 50Mbps down and 19Mbps up and now I’m getting 60Mbps down & 29Mbps up so at least this time Nintendo has made the users experience better because it needed it. The performance on the throughput to the switch downloading large titles all Nintendo was doing was bottlenecking the speeds directly to the switch just awful.

Edizon doesn't need to be updated for 9.0? The cheat engine comes built in with Atmosphere.

You'll have to forgive my ignorance, since I haven't fucked with the Switch's cheat system much. How are you selecting/enabling cheats within Atmo, much less searching for them, without Edizon?

You need Edizon for Atmosphere's cheat engine.
