Cemu emulator version 1.15.15 released, adds surround sound support

Two weeks have passed since the last update for Cemu, which means it's time for another version upgrade. Everyone's favorite Nintendo Wii U emulator, Cemu, has received a new minor bugfix release, fixing uncommon performance-related issues, giving support for mono and surround sound, and adding separation for the emulator's gameprofiles. There's no Vulkan backend yet, for those patiently waiting for it, as the releases build to an eventual v1.16.0 update.

# Cemu detailed changelog for 1.15.15b
# Patreon release date: 2019-09-20
# Public release date: 2019-09-27

# New in 1.15.15b (public release):

GX2: Fixed a bug that could lead to random performance drops or crashes under rare circumstances

# New in 1.15.15:

general: The default gameprofiles that ship with Cemu and the ones with user edits
are now in separate folders. This change was made so that extracting all
files from the Cemu.zip into an existing Cemu installation no longer
overwrites any game settings

AX: Added support for mono and surround sound
AX: Added API AXSetDeviceRemixMatrix, AXGetDeviceRemixMatrix

GX2: Guarantee usage of locale independent number formats when inserting preset variables into custom shaders (#190)
GX2: Added optional VRAM stat to overlay (Win 8.1 and above only)
GX2: Tweaks to cache management on OpenGL to prevent internal out-of-memory crashes (#176, #186)

Note:
(#xx) refers to bug tracker issues resolved by this change. See http://bugs.cemu.info/projects/cemu/

Didn't realize that they were making 82k a year just off patreon until now
I mean, it's divided among whomever is in the group.. I assume, anyway.. So, it's not a whole lot, but they are getting paid to work on it.

also kinda sad it isn't open source, but great work anyway
Yeah, but I doubt open source would speed up the development process at all.

Look at Decaf for example, an open-source Wii U emulator that is nowhere near the level that Cemu is at. Nobody's willing to do serious work unless there's a lot of money/demand for it, and most people are pretty content with having a closed team doing the work for them.

It's pretty obvious that the few people who were down to make serious work made Cemu closed-source just for the money, but I'm not complaining. They do good work and deserve some in return.

It is not a matter of speeding up the devlopment, i didn't said i wanted the project to be a comunity project, just the source to be public.

I like electronics that use detachable cables, that way if the cable breaks you can just swap in a new one instead of replacing the whole unit

i dont know why tv manufactures put the hdmi ports in dumb locations so the cables have to stick out, and then down, putting strain on the ports. Instead of having the ports along the bottom edge of the tv facing downwards.
