While we are on the subject I'm pretty sure the UK now bans Switch hacking the TOS tamper doesn't even matter for them. I got no reason to attack to anyone I'm just fed up with the BS in our threads that have nothing to do with topic.

There is no need to update to 9.0.0 at this time. If you want to update to 9.0.0, or if you accidentally updated to 9.0.0 already, use Atmosphere for the time being and wait for SX OS to publish an update.

It should also be noted that, if not now, SX OS is likely to stop providing compatibility updates sometime in the future when it's no longer profitable for them to do so, and based on the sales data I've seen, that could be soon. It could be now, or it could be a year from now, but SX OS is likely to go the way of Gateway for the 3DS.

Except there was no advantage to using .3ds vs going with cfw whereas using xci from an external HDD is far superior at least for people with a large library of games. Are you going to share where you got sales figures or did you just make that up?

Works on my 8.0.1 which shares the same keys as 7.0.1. Although I regularly patch my games to 7.0.1 compatibility.

Using the same key doesn't mean that the game uses the same SDK version. If the game was compiled using the latest SDK, even if it was encrypted with previous keys, it won't work on previous firmwares.

We don't have real data, so we can't say if anything is right or not. The polling data is all I have. I've also mostly only addressed possible futures, not the present.
