It's only a dollar a month. But it's not really a Patreon exclusive, just that test builds not suitable for public release are sometimes available to Patreons literally for testing. Pretty much everybody associated is against things being private for too long.
Pre-release are usualy no more then a week before they get posted to the public
Texture issues has been fixed, release is around the corner 
Flycast texture invalidation works but it causes quite a overhead in some games (see end of clip).

As @sj33 mentioned, having the GDI Files Converted to CHD is much better. They are still the higher Quality, just compressed to have better File Size, and for those GDIs that have a large amount of Files in them, with CHDs, you get them all in 1 File, so you dont need to separate them into individual Folders. Going to love to see how the next Version is . MANY thanks to @m4xw

I've read about this before, what exactly is one supposed to use to convert .gdis or .cdi to .chd?
You should use the package found here https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Dreamcast
It only works with gdi, not cdi. CHD basically compresses the data and also compresses the audio as FLAC. Flycast can read the resulting CHD without decompression. Many other disc-based emulators support CHD, including PCSX and Genesis Plus GX (for Sega CD games).
Basically you need the MAME 0.205 CHDMAN.exe File. Need to put it in each DC DC GDI Folder so it will do it properly. It can use CHDMAN v5 and I think v4. Not sure if there is a 6 yet or not.
No, there's no need for such a thing. All homebrew compiled with the new libnx will work with all fw.

I figured that was the reference you were going for!
Really impressed with the SC here. It doesn't beat using a KB obviously, but when you're using a lapboard, the mousepad really needs a magnet.
And yes, it should be the theme for RA setups all over like how the PS4 Home Menu has a theme!
