In celebration of this year's Tokyo Game Show, Square Enix released a brand-new trailer for the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake. The trailer features new gameplay footage, a closer look at the slums of Midgar, as well as mini-games (squatting game is back!).

The Deluxe Edition is also available to pre-order now. This special edition comes with a hardback art book featuring concept art, a soundtrack selection CD, Summon Materia DLC allowing players to summon Cactuar in game, and a Sephiroth SteelBook Case. On the other hand, the Digital Deluxe Edition contains a digital art book, a digital soundtrack selection, and Summon Materia DLC allowing players to summon Carbuncle and Cactuar in game.

Those who pre-order any version of the game will also receive the Chocobo Chick Summon Materia DLC at launch. Those who pre-order any digital edition from the PlayStation®Store will also receive the Cloud & Sephiroth Dynamic Theme for the PlayStation®4 system.

Final Fantasy VII Remake will be available for the PlayStation 4 from March 3, 2020.

I wanna play this game one day. It'll be my first Final Fantasy game since I never got into series as a child.
But I've seen and heard enough about the series over the years to play it myself...

Thank you, but I wanted a slightly longer answer lol. I guess it's also a somewhat stupid question, but for me personally, it's hard to get into older games and it's generally boresome.

Numbered FFs are set in completely disconnected worlds and this FF7 remake is a reboot of all the previous FF7 collection continuity. So its a fine place to start with FF.

It is fine to start with 7 as most FF are in their own word and have very little to do with one another.

On topic,

I am so HYPED for the game!!

Really love how the Turks look!
I love how all the characters have a lot more personality in them on the remake.
Needless to say, everything we saw so far is only a portion of the first half of the original game's first disc, but it looks a lot bigger than before.
