Nintendo wins injunction to block sites in the UK

Just thought I'd post this:

UK internet providers must block access to websites which enable Switch game piracy, Nintendo has successfully argued in court.

The injunction requires five major UK ISPs - Sky, BT, EE, Talktalk and Virgin Media - to "block, or at least impede access" to four websites which help distribute pirated Switch games, modified hardware, or provide information on how to mod consoles for piracy reasons.

Was just going to share this myself..

We shall see what happens They so far have done a crap job of blocking torrents in the UK...

It's a cat and mouse game....or just use a VPN/Proxy.

Yep, I honestly dont know why they bother wasting all the £££ on such a pointless thing!

My guess is either ignorance and/or to deter more ‘casual’ people.
