Nintendo 3DS firmware update 11.11.0-43E released

More stability. You know you want it, and Nintendo is here to make your wish come true by streaming it directly to a dual-screen system near you. Firmware 11.11.0-43 has just been released for the whole family of EUR 3DS consoles and, while no official changelog is available at the time of writing, we can all imagine what it would look like. It is currently unknown if and when update will also be released for other regions. Even if something got changed under the hood, it doesn't look like anything significant for homebrew according to a tweet made by smealum:

The coast may seem clear, but the usual rules still apply: while CFW users can upgrade freely, you are advised to wait until the all-clear is given before doing so if you're relying on *hax payloads or other entrypoints - especially considering the new firmware doesn't introduce any new features or functions. This post will be kept up-to-date with any other useful hacking & homebrew related info.

Everything is hidden in the hood. Nintendo's done adding shit...its obvious. Now its just bug fixes and attempts to patch out CFW.
Yeah? So why only in the Euro fw?
Like the WiiU's last euro-only update, it's to do with European internet compliance regulations.

I´m not sure if it has been written but this is not Nintendo Fault.
European Union is enforcing by Law that in order to use a Credit Card a 3rd party Secure ID service is used.
As of September all payments need to be authenticated with a PIN code (3rd party authentication service).

This is the reason why they are pulling Credit Card payment option (probably to complicated to implement a redirect..)

because they are abandoning it and the 3ds eshop :P
Yup. Says a lot about how digital software sales on the 3DS have likely declined in the EU, if this happened a few years ago they would’ve been in a rush to patch the 3DS eShop app and their servers to make sure they’re compliant with the new regulations.
Going a little off topic here, but the 3DS is showing its age, big time. I think we’re still a very long ways off from the eShop being shut down but there’s no way that Nintendo’s going to keep producing 3DS/2DS systems by the end of 2020. Less and less games are being released for it and sales are likely shrinking across the board as people gradually lose interest in the 3DS and its library.
