were haxors able to inject their own n64 roms? the fact it played yoshi story makes me think it was better than the opensource emus that always glitched out on that game

The fact that one game works on it while it doesn't work on other emulators does not make it a better emulator. That's very simplistic way of thinking. The emuator is made for the Wii U only, I don't understand how you would think devs could apply it to other emulators. That makes no sense. The structure is probably nothing alike.

eh i guess i think illogicly when i think about how well the wiiu cemu emulator runs on pc. and then seeing how nintendo optimize the n64 emulation for the wiiu and can learn from that optimization to reapply back into say muppen

I'm sure he meant May Lakka. That is the best one.

Apologies I did indeed* The first L4T Lakka release, Ive played through most of RAREWARE games off it and pretty much everything was perfect or needed the small level of overclock to run so, only yoshi story in the new release improved many other n64 games got worse/ failed to run broke. Ive gone over to android for much emulation- I dont think lakka is getting much developer attention. The last release pretty much confirmed that, with a core being released that doesn’t run a single game. Wireless bluetooth controller support is clearly very hard to input.

Yes I was. I didnt mean to offend, but conkers and zelda OOT are both completely broken, and have you tried Play! core in lakka? Not a single game works which gives me the opinion it was never tested outside L4T ubuntu. Mupen64 legitimately works better/incredibly well in the earlier release and hw per pixel lighting isnt broken, aside from yoshis story not running, the earlier release was superior. Ubuntu has had S2idle running over 2 months now. Im also serious about the wireless bluetooth support being hard to input, although im not sure which part you are referring to? Nothing I said was intended to be offensive so please don’t jump out of your skin at me. But in comparison to other projects -retroarch in horizon and ubuntu, lakka progress seems slower. Im not having a go at anyone, or saying their isnt a reason, but it seems apparent to me and I am not the only one that has voiced the opinion. Again if my comment somehow offended you, it was far from my intention, so apologies.

If you have played Donkey Kong 64, do you have any ideea how can I fix the camera snap issue? the game runs so fine, but it still has that camera snap issure.

There is no camera snap issue. My camera follows smoothly and I'm running default settings. Have you changed anything?

Disabled framebuffer emulation, or I just turned ram settings off.Either one of those things. If I leave those on, it runs really slow

I play it last night. It should run full speed (Except during screen transitions) with Overclock. I did not need to disable framebuffer or change the ram settings. Are you running Fat32? There's a lot of things that could not be setup right to to cause your issues, but you should not have to change any settings (Except for OC) to get this game running playable.

I don't play with overclocking. I succeeded in getting full speed via a save state. And it runs awesome with stock cpu clock!!!

So right now I run all 3 collectathons sm64 banjoo kazooie and dk64 with full speed. Man this is awesome. Now I hope ReVolt and GoldenEye will get fixed.

I really hope that soon ALL GAMES will run full speed.

If you disagree with things Ive said please point them out! Your comment explains very little. Nothing I have I have said is a lie and some of the statements i have made are facts. Like a core released with not a single game working, mupen64 ocarina of time breaking at the in game menu, conkers breaking at the n64 logo. I would welcome real feedback, but your comment is about as vague as someones monthly starsign. When the biggest addition to a new release for a project(Play!) was released without a game working, people assume that project(lakka) is not a large priority within the homebrew scene. I fully respect what developers wish to work on, and their own interests absolutely should take priority as is their right! But I am not really sure what the purpose of your comment here, because it provides nothing informative other than just trying to attack an individual, especially when my post was never intended to be offensive

Mupen64Plus-next works fine on my machine(tm) /shrug. Play! was tested by some people (including myself) before the update released, it ran like ass on literally everything but did run games. S2idle sleep was tested, but for whatever reason RA didn’t like it and would crash, the wired joycon driver also caused issues with S2idle iirc

Note: I use self compiled builds, but I don’t think that should affect anything

Not to mention PS2 will never run fullspeed in the switch's lifetime.
So its either meme core or no core at all.
Also Yoshi is fully functional etc.
You must not have kept up with the progress (it works since months and was only a short lived regression)

You should report what you were doing incorrectly in case other users are running into the same issues.

Well I enabled FB emu , entered in game , created a save state , turned off FB emu , closed the game , loaded the game again with FB emu off and loaded the state save. The camera snap glitch is now gone

Also for the glitch in Banjoo Kazooie , I turned off the ram settings under FBemu off. All you need to do is play with those until you get what you want. Goodluck

I can't help but think nintendo switch online is the reason we did not get a gameboy/n64/gamecube
