A Hat in Time jumps onto the Nintendo Switch this October

2017's throwback 3D platformer, A Hat in Time, has been teased for release on the Nintendo Switch for about a year now. The wait is almost over though, as Gears for Breakfast has locked in a release date for the port of the game. On October 18th, you'll be able to get your hands on the game, both digitally and physically, retailing for $39.99 on the Switch. This release will include some DLC and recent updates, which features local co-op, and the Seal the Deal chapter.

Mmmmm, $40 for a $15 game otherwise, and for a company whose communication is very lacking. The game is getting a lot of support by the company, but they've really rubbed me wrong since the announcement of the Switch port in Japan, which was supposed to originally be a WiiU port which they also backlashed to the community about. I think I'll wait for a $15 sale rather than give them their asking price for it.

Not heard of the game before looks great and just found out on ps4 so I'll get tht as switch no achievements-nintendo Yr losing sales you really need to bring in some kind of achievement system
You don't need achievements or trophies to have a successful game system. I mean, the DS didn't have those, and it sold like hot cakes! (It's still the #2 BEST SELLING CONSOLE WORLDWIDE, just under the PS2.)

Trophies in games make em more playable it givs you something even mor to aim for thts why they now exist-end of the day the question is would you want trophies in a game yes or no and I think over 90 percent would say yes-I don't kno why nintendo aren't doing it mayb they feel it's copying which is ridiculous-nintendo will still sell machines and games of course but would do so even more if had a proper achievement system

What nonsense- I don't really care for dlc in any game as main game is large enough and being portable means nothing big screen with dolby surround set up is always better experience and no achievements for Switch it's not only me who thinks thts bolox

Hat in Time's DLC though adds:
- Two new chapters
- Six new time rifts
- Death Wish Mode
- Online Party
- Stickers

One chapter, Death Wish, and five of the six time rifts are available on the Switch, making it the second best platform for A Hat in Time, as of right now.

As said before extra content isn't a big thing I'd still rather try get many trophies as can in the main game

1. You seem like you're stuck in 2007 with how you keep saying "tht" instead of "that", and 2. You don't need trophies to have fun. Heck, some games on Xbox/Playstation might not even have more than 1 or 2 trophies.

I bought the game other day ps4 and I can tel you some of the trophies are making the game how it should be an extra fun challenge like one wher you don't fall into the audience which I'm doing at the moment - I didn't say games are not fun unless got trophies as said before they improve the game further than not having them and re spelling that like tht am I the creator of it as think did it in 2006:D

Yeah, achievements are pretty fun. And you know what? I think a TRUE gamer is just someone who just has fun with the games they play, and doesn't be mean to people who have a *insert game console other than what they have* or like *insert game here*, y'know? and I think Nintendo should add an achievement system, too.
