I've been doing some cover arts for wiiflow that may not be available in the Mastershoes packs is there a place I can contribute? Since I'm a newbie i'm unable to post links, images etc

Hi there, I made this set of arcade covers:
Mame arcade Covers

Many are new covers, for games now playable thanks to the new @Wiimpathy Retroarch cores.
Some are re-edits of old covers made by me years ago.
There are also two covers for two VC Arcade games that are missing in gametdb: E7UJ for Splatterhouse and E72J for Starblade.
Both games were japan only releases, but there are fan traslations for the menus if you search the web

Enjoy!:yaywii:

Will this work for retroarch without wiiflow? I’m just loading it through the channel forwarder.

For retroarch, you can download the entire cover set for each of your emulated systems. You can get them from here: https://github.com/libretro-thumbnails/libretro-thumbnails

Just click on the system, then at the top right of the screen, click "Clone or Download" and download the zip file. I would do a single system at a time as downloading the entire collection for all available systems is a fairly hefty download.

Great! I’ll try this out this weekend. Thanks!

Also, those images can be used in emulators like FCEUGX, SNES9XGX, VBAGX, etc. You may find that a few images are not loading -- this is due to the naming scheme. All covers/screenshots/artwork must match the name of the ROM file. However, retroarch likes to convert all '&' characters to '_' (underscore), and a few other special characters also get renamed to '_' as well. Additionally, FCEUGX seems to dislike certain image sizes (or perhaps it is the dimensions). I used imagemagick to batch convert all the box covers to 256 width (which reduces the file size and the dimensions); this seems specific to FCEUGX.

I made a second pack of arcade covers (100 covers total). A few of them could be duplicates from Wiimpathy's covers, but they have spines with original logos and artworks, if you prefer. If they don't show delete the corresponding .wfc files in wiiflow/cache/your_folder and reload cache in Wiiflow

@mastershoes I would be very happy if you could add to your collection my sets of covers for arcade and pc-engine jewel case (from some months ago). They could be easily missed as they are. I know it's a lot of covers and you're having an hard time mantaining your mediafire account. So, if it could help you, I have a free mediafire account and I could host some of them for you.

@Tetsuo Shima I do plan on adding everything to the OP, life is just a little hectic.
Thanks mastershoes! Don't worry and take your time.

Regarding @mikty request, I don't recognize the pic you posted as my work, my set of hucards covers for wiiflow has no japanese kanji in the spines for game titles.
I hope you will like it nonetheless.
But I'm curious, where did you take that image?

By chance have you guys found any cover art or are willing to share anything for Game & Watch? Haven’t been able to find a single one, and finding pictures for them are a pain. If not I might then make a large compilation of DVD style packs for the Game & watch collection. There are only 6 on here

@Wiimpathy Thank you for the upload! I'll check it when I get home! From the looks of it, it looks like a great compilation! Thank you for the hard work and response! I might try to flip them vertically, but if not, set to the SNES orientation
