That sounds weird. Could you tell me what OS and GPU are you using? Also, could you try v1.00 instead of v1.10? (You're using NTR, so 90% of v1.10's new features aren't that relevant to you anyways)

I run it on Win7 Ultimate and the Graphics card I have is the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB.

In version 1.00 it works fine while in Direct2D mode. I cant send an NFC patch ("cant connect to 3Ds") nor use the GDI+ rendering (same error).

I also forgot to mention that on 1.10 the connection failed when using HzMod aswell

ty for your fast reply

NFC patching is not needed if you enable Luma's debugger and the GDI+ renderer is deprecated as there's no real reason to use it if Direct2D works for you anyways (it's only kept as a legacy feature). That aside, if 1.00 works while 1.10 doesn't and you're running Windows 7, then it's likely a Direct2D 1.1 issue. Check if you have installed the platform update.

After I installed the Update v1.10 started working without any problems. Ty very much for your help

The latest SnickerStream works just fine for me. Keep in mind my OS is Windows 7 Home Premium, my CPU is an AMD Athlon II X4 630, and my GPU is a ATi Radeon 5770. It doesn't connect on the first try, but the second one gets it done.

I keep getting this error message, I disabled everything, Windows Defender, Smartscreen and Firewall
the new3DS flashes pink and blue before getting this error
Hey there @RattletraPM, SnickerStream was working for me a couple of months ago but I just tried it again today and the same thing that happened to Diego788 is now happening to me. Also my ntr cfw crashes afterwards when I try to restart my 3DS. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
UPDATE: I've be going over every option I can think of. I think it's something to do with Windows 10. The only thing that changed from a couple of months ago was my router, however I hooked my old router back up and I'm still getting these errors with it now. I had some windows updates I needed to do so I did them and still nothing changed. I downgraded Luma to 9.1 and still nothing changed. I know there's gotta be something! @RattletraPM, I sent you a Discord friend request if you wanted to chat about it there.

Ok, so update time. I ended up testing multiple more solutions including trying different routers, upgrading an extra laptop I have from Vista to Windows 10, and trying to connect to a router without internet. After all that, I tried it again on my regular setup with everything pretty much the same as before and it worked! The only thing I can tell that changed through the whole process was my 3DS' IP address. Now my 3DS shows up in my router's menu and connects fine to my pc. When in doubt, change your 3DS' IP address!

So this takes a fairly powerful cpu to get good framerate? I get like 7 fps.
that'll be average for an O3DS, a "Beefy PC" isnt required in the way your thinking. good FPS, only way you'll get that is outta a N3DS

to anyone else that says "It crashes/hangs my 3DS on reboot/game change" *thats been a known thing for years. just Reboot via Rosalina or reboot from NTR "Button Combo" menu

Are there any other general recommendations to avoid crashes? I'm using input redirect and ntr and as long as I don't soft reset or connect and disconnect from wifi/input redirect it seems mostly stable. Though I've also experienced a freeze in FE: Fates for no real reason. Very frustrating to lose progress while streaming. Any other recommendations to improve stability?

there is no way, its down to how to NTR Hooks into the system. if you want a crash-free solution Hope hzmod becomes as smooth or pay the few hundred$$ to get a capture card installed in your 3DS.

Ok that's what I expected. I literally would get a capture card if someone could actually install one properly on a new 3ds xl. Merki is literally the only one i know of, and he's taking a break

I have installed Snickerstream to my new computer (It worked really well on my old computer). However, whenever I try to connect my 3ds to Snickerstream, an error show up saying: Could not receive the stream from your console (It did not do this on my old computer oddly. Also, a screenshot of the error is attached to this reply.).

I tried allowing Snickerstream through the firewall, running as administrator, changing the port, restarting the computer, and temporarily disabling the firewall. Nothing worked. When I first opened Snickerstream on my new computer, it did not prompt me to allow it through the firewall (which on my old computer it did iirc). How should I fix the error? (and yes, my 3ds has NTR CFW on it, which I turned it on before I connected it to Snickerstream).

I'm having a problem. When trying to play SNES games through homebrew emulator (not VC), the colors are all messed up, in a similar vein to people saying they have the issue with VC. Tried both NTR and HzMod, and not only did neither work, but they both messed up the colors in different ways. What do I do?
