Only for flashcards that can be directly accessed by TWLMenu++ on the SD card.

In order to play DS games off my Acekard 2i using the direct access method, are there any special instructions in order to get that to work? I don't see any thing specifically about it on the first post of the thread.
I can't get any games to run off the flashcard including Super Mario 64 and Metroid Prime Hunters which was said to work in a previous post. I've tried the horse head and hello kitty firmwares for the acekard. I've tried putting the boot.nds on the acekard's sd card (both flashcard and sd card version). Even tried fresh installs of twilight menu on both my New3DS XL and DSi XL.
I think I've covered all bases, so I'm out of ideas.

I can't imagine why it won't work for you, since it does work for me, using an R4 Ultra.

And just to clarify, you can switch between the SD and flashcard at anytime?

Yes, I've tried both nds-bootstrap options (yes/no). Yes gives me white screen. No gives Start failed. Error 1.

I just can't get it to work. The only thing I haven't tried is another acekard.

Does this path exist on your flashcard's SD card?

Yes, it has the fatTable and patchOffsetCache folders in it with .bin files in them from the games I've tried recently. I've already tried deleting both folders in case the .bin files were corrupted as you suggested to somebody else in a previous post.

I'm not responsible for the damage done to your SD.
Your SD card was already dying, before even opening the updater, so if you we're to open any other application that reads or writes to your SD card, it would also kill your SD card.

Not really, it was a freshly new h2w tested Sd card, of course I did it myself, but if U had put a warning "this may kill off ur sd", i wouldn't fucking tried the app.

You are the only one who has reported this issue.
Everyone else has tried the updater, and didn't have your issue, so it wouldn't make sense to put a warning, just for an issue only you had.

EDIT: Even though h2w might say there's no issues with your SD card, it's possible that the SD card itself is a fake/defect.
You should buy an SD card with the Samsung or SanDisk brand, from Amazon, or at a local store near you, which is recommended, if you don't want a fake.

If you still feel that the updater will brick your SD card (even though it hasn't happened to anyone else), please install or update TWiLight Menu++ manually.

Did you set the language to "Default" in TWLMenu++ settings, or the game's per-game settings?

Ok, I was able to find "Professor Layton and the Last Specter" and "Plants vs Zombies". They both loaded off the Acekard fine on the New3DS xl, but both games just white screened after creating the save file on the DSi XL. I deleted the 2 folders inside the "_nds/nds-bootstrap" of the acekard sd card just to be sure the .bin files had anything to do with the issue. I made sure the twilight settings were as close as possible for both systems.
