Hacking PS2Vita card memory not showing up in PKGj??

In PKGj I show 537M free memory, but I have a very nice 256G memory card sitting in my PS2Vita adapter! I was able to download 1 file but it nearly maxed my card out.

Can anyone tell me the correct configuration to have PKGj save the games I download to the PS2Vita card and not the Vita card?

In playing around with it I managed to do it once, but have no idea what I did to make it so.

It's not possible to play vita games through secondary storage(uma0 or any other mounting point), only if you make the sd2vita main storage (ux0) through storagemgr or gamesd plugin.

Get The AUTOPLUGIN APP .... only install plungins to ur0

Gotcha. I jut finished downgrading to 3.60 like you suggested, now I have to go back and set everything up again. Can't access Vitashell yet.

Yes basically go to the henkaku site... I would have gone to 3.65 .. Then you can have permanent CFW . Enso.. All the same everything should be fine .. Just remember when using the Autoplugin app EVERYTHING you add goes to ur0 Except the Adrenaline Stuff .. ( this is where I messed up) .. & it will be fine

Ok. I went wifi and got Henkaku, then installed Henso and now Henkaku automatically runs after reboot like it should. I also have autoplugin now.

However when I open PKGj I still only see available memory from my Vita card in the bottom left corner. Also now I cannot download files from there. Through PKGr I start the download, however on the Vita screen it says "could not download" for every file I try. I know there is room even on my Vita card, I deleted all the games I already had and have 6G available there.

Ideas?

Ok. I went wifi and got Henkaku, then installed Henso and now Henkaku automatically runs after reboot like it should. I also have autoplugin now.

You'll have to install storagemgr and then change MCD=uma0 and GCD=ux0

Or you can use gamesd plugin as well

You'll also need nonpdrm again for it to work and refood for games that require over 3.60 firmware. Make sure it installs in ur0 and you don't have a ux0 tai folder

As he said above .. I also realized after downloading lots of different games . With some crashes here & there dew to my internet.... If you delete the contents in the bgdl/ Folder you will gain space back on your Memory Card . Must be where PKGJ puts its downloads.... Even the ones that failed to complete

3. storage_config.txt reads as follows:
MDC=uma0
INT=imc0
GDC=ux0
UMA=grw0
4. I have completely deleted the .tai folder in ux0.
5. I have used the autoplugin app to install Nonpdrm unofficial, Nopsmdrm, Psmatch, Refood and Repatch.

PKGj still shows only 7.38G free (Vita card) and not my PS2Vita adapter card (256G). I am now finally able to download files from there again though, but STILL need them to go to my bigger PS2Vita card and not my Vita memory card.

Ok. I am about fed up. Every time I make changes in autoplugin it forces an update (even when I say cancel) and completely wipes out everything (Vitashell, PKGr, everything).

It's GCD and MCD not GDC AND MDC, also if you have a 1000 vita you can delete the INT line as it's not needed, and same goes for UMA this is only for the psvsd adapter you only need the GCD and MCD lines


Also the unofficial nonpdrm is only for 3.70 i think, use the official one instead

Just try this Reboot Vita Hold The L Button Down... ( this will stop all plug-ins ) use autoplugin do the Sd2vita & nodrm plugin only ... Restart & let's see

ok, open up vitashell, can you advise what storage capacity the ux0 and uma0 drives have showing please?

I lost Vitashell and all my other vpk downloads during my last attempt at fixing this. I'll try and get it back tomorrow, I'll have to go through installing henkaku going through the whole process again.

That will be because you did not set up the SD2VITA correctly...

Take the Sd2vita out pop sd into PC. Turn on vita hold down L and R, load up Vitashell.

On your PC zzblankimg the sd card, format exfat, 64kb cluster size if over 200gb,standard cluster for any smaller cards.

You then need to ftp the contents of ux0 on the ps vita to the sd card in your PC, make sure show hidden files and folders is ticked in Windows folder settings before copying and hide operating system files is unchecked/unticked (app folder needs to be viewable). Once complete insert Sd2vita into ps vita set up storage manager via autoplugin and reboot.

Thanks for all your help guys. For lack of time I ended up mailing my Vita to someone yesterday to get it configured properly. This person had been helping me a lot through email and didn't want much to fix it through mail.

I did learn a lot about the system with y'alls help though, and it is very much appreciated! When I get nt Vita back I'm going to dig into it and see what a proper config is supposed to look like!
