So my switch got banned
I plan to keep this one and buy a new one
But i wanna know what to do with my main account, i used it to play online with games i bought
1)Just log in that account in the new Switch
2) do transfer data from one switch to another
3) ask for unlink account, i called to nintendo chile, they can unlink my account if i give the serial of both switches.
My account wasn't banned but yesterday i got that message that nintendo blocked my console from going to Internet, i cant even update or go into eshop
I wanna buy again a switch but i wanna know if it possible to carry back all the games i bought and my saves

I was told and read once your banned even if you buy a new switch that one will be banned as well

Not really. It's only when you hack online that the account as well will be banned. Just the system should be banned in your case

OK, I apologise for being a dick

In answer to your questions it's entirely dependant on why you got banned, did you mod your console, did you hack/ use homebrew.

Second step would be to ring up nintendo and find out if its an account ban, if not unlink your account from the switch, get a new switch and be good on that one. That way you'll have two switches, one you can mess around on and one you're all legit on.

As for your games, well again it dependant, if it is an account ban, you're kinda screwed I'm afraid but hopefully it won't be that and you can reload your account on a new switch

I think it would be a foolish idea to do anything that account henceforth other than leave it be in Its miserable state as it is.
Linking the same account to a fresh unhacked console you intend to play online one would pose a great risk of getting banhammered again by Nintendo, which is something you'd not want to happen right.
Therefore I'd advise you to create a new account, should you get your hands on another switch. Start from square one again. I know it can be unfair and quite frustrating to lose your account especially if you had some monetary value of significance in it but the risk comes with hacking your console and such.
Good luck. :)

I think this is a good advice, a fresh start and no worries for being banned again!

Yep that's what I'm trying to convey to him.
In addition to that i would suggest OP to wait for a little longer until the switch models with a significant boost in battery life hit store shelves, assuming in his new switch all he wants is online play and going the legit route.
having said that though OP should not toss away his banned switch but ought to keep it. Demands for a first generation fully hackable switch are high and increasing. Think of this when the early models switches prices will begin to inflate and go up OP might profit a hefty amount of money thereof.
But hey if he still wishes to keep his banned switch for his homebrew needs than sure.
Just saying. ;)

Consider yourself among the lucky ones to have a firstgen switch by your side. Yes indeed disposing it would be not so good.
I'm sure they will be sold in Chile just as everywhere else.
Might take a little longer but all that waiting will be worth in the end.
take care~

I had the same experience, you can just link your account into your new Switch and nothing bad will happen to that console and you can unlink the account from that Switch by yourself on this website, you can avoid to call Nintendo, just go to your account settings on the Nintendo website, enter into "Shop settings" and scroll down to "Deregister your primary console" and that's it! I had the new Switch since September I think and It continues totally normal
