have some questions,

does gbarunner2 running on a dsi xl make the gba games run natively? or will run into compatibility issues?

are there any additional settings I can change within gbarunner2 like stretch screen/move screen to bottom screen / swap button layout?

any way to to bypass AP on rando obscure games like bejeweled 3?

Is there a way to set up my DSi to boot normally unless I hold a button for unlaunch/Twilight? I can't seem to find the default DSi menu as a boot option, the only one I see is "launcher," which brings me directly to the menu without the splash screen and without the music.

That's normal.
NoCash disabled both the splash screen and the music/sound.

gbarunner2 has many compatibility issues. Did you read something to suggest otherwise?

If you can't find an AP patch, then there is nothing else to be done.

Fill your SD card so that there's 2GB free, or make TWLMenu++ load the DSi Menu that's on SysNAND.

Okay. So, I pretty much suck with everything mod related. I've modded my 3DS and my Wii before and was doing the same to my DSi before I got cold feet because this console I've had for a very long time and Unlaunch just didn't look right to me. I guess a lot of people would just tell me to read the guides, but I really just want to know if there is a way to return this thing to before Unlaunch was installed. I got as far as installing the latest version of it but pretty much stopped there, I have the nand backup in 2 places as well. Anyone know what I should do or if I can even do anything? Thank you.

Huh? The background picture?

I guess a lot of people would just tell me to read the guides, but I really just want to know if there is a way to return this thing to before Unlaunch was installed.
In general I advise against uninstalling custom firmware on any device because it can have bad effects – including full bricking if important titles have been modified – and has no benefits I can think of. But this is my very personal opinion.

Newer versions of the unlaunch installer contain an uninstall function. If you did not modify anything on the NAND other than installing unlaunch, the uninstaller should not cause any harm – despite the message:
Warning: Uninstalling unlaunch
will render your console mostly
useless.

Not sure what the developer wants to say with that (pointing to possible bricks in case of modified “Launcher” or just “A DSi without unlaunch is useless.”)

You can start the installer – if it is still on your SD (else re-download) – right from the unlaunch filemenu. Should have a name like "Unlaunch DSi Installer" However, do not hold me responsible. Since I have no way to recover from bricks on a DSi my testing is very limited compared to the 2|3DS systems.

Sorry if anything I said was confusing to you. It's just that a lot of modding I've done was kinda hand holdy but this stuff was like the kind of stuff I've never really dealt with? Sorry if anything I'm just gonna be raising more questions. I guess something there just made me uneasy.
Thank you for replying to help by the way I appreciate it, i guess i'll just try

how do i enter unlaunch options? I just got an used dsi and I can't find a way to go in unlaunch options. No SD is inserted, I see the boot screen of unlaunch 1.4, i keep pressed A+B, but then it continues to sysnand
