Hacking using 3.60+ games on hankaku 3.60

Don't know if talking about ways of bypassing the Vita's software protection (like trying to play >3.60 games on a 3.60 system) is allowed at all. I don't want to get banned.

I'll just say yes, its doable.

My advice is to install Ensö using 3.60 OFW, or update your Vita to 3.65 OFW version and install Ensö, so you'll be even closer to games from 3.70 version. Even though there aren't that many worth playing anyway.

Easiest way to play 3.60+ games is by using a plugin called "reF00D". It's even listed on [Essentials] PSVita Homebrew and directly linked to the github page.

It's not illegal to talk about that specific topic here.

Quoting the plugins github page:

It allows you to run modules such as games or system apps that require a FW different from your own. This includes thing such as 3.69 games or 3.51 apps.

also install enso if you haven't already, that way you don't have to run the web exploit every time you turn on your console

Enso is a persistent exploit, you don't need to execute it every time you cold boot the Vita.

Yes you need to be on Firmware 3.60 then install HENkaku for FW 3.60 then install Enso HENkaku and then install reF00D plugin to play any game & FW 3.60+

yes it is within autoplugin, you want to ensure you have the below plugins enabled (in this order), for playing games

nonpdrm
ref00d
repatch

Also, while ref00d will allow playing 3.60+ games, with repatch and compatibility patches for the specific games you can improve the load times. Pkgj is good for finding and installing the relevant compatibility packs.

so that mean i do need to install the compatibilty packs even if it works only with refood?
or its a more minor thing that i can live without?
