TX Presents SX OS v2.8 Beta - Now Compatible with v8.1.0 FW

Amazing News Today!, Here it Is SX OS v2.8 now works with v8.1.0!
SXOS-28.jpg

TX has announced they have already released an update to their SX OS, which allows full usage of the latest Switch v8.1.0 firmware. :)
We are back with another update for SX OS. As you all probably know, one of our main priorities is making sure existing users are able to keep enjoying SX OS.

This update brings full compatibility for the recent firmware update 8.1.0.

Nothing more, nothing less. We have some very cool features lined up that are not quite ready for primetime yet. And we didn't want to keep you waiting till next september either.
So what are you waiting for? SX OS 2.8 beta is available for download on our website now! (and through the builtin online updater part of SX OS, of course)

I am still running the Switch firmware 5.1.0, with SXOS v2.3

Is it safe to do a full firmware update to the latest and install SXOS v2.8? And to do this, should I just boot the original FW and upgrade, then just boot back into SXOS?
At least update to the lastest stable CFW-version. There is no reason to let Nintendo ban you for using outdated software.

It's called having a clean backup and wifi deleted when using homebrew. Emunand helps alot. Never will receive a ban. And yes, I do buy games and play online. No online = no fun
Ow nice, how long u play online games and use emuNAND??

The mental gymnastics to convince themselves that Atmos "released it first", while there is proof that SX literally released it first astounds me. It's literally atmos users TRYING to start conflict... When atmos comes first, there's 'reeling in' from the atmos crowd in an attempt to cause arguments to SX users. And when SX releases theirs first, they still find a way to try and start conflict with SX users. Christ almighty. Just use whichever fucking firmware you like. Stop putting all of this mind-boggling mental gymnastics bull into it to try and come to a (non)logical 'conclusion'. It's exhausting.

just let people enjoy whatever the fuck they want. Who cares who did it first?
That whole situation of who released it first, reminds me of the warez scene in the early 2000's, where we would regularly see races between scene groups to release a big AAA title first. Fairlight, Deviance and Razor1911 would duke it out to the finish line. The race loser, even though their release was working perfectly fine, would see it nuked for "Lost race". :rofl2: Good old days!

nice, so i dont think i have a clean nand because i used to update my nsp games through ofw (sxmenu ofw).
and i even once updated my system in ofw.

so im guessing my sysnand is pretty much not clean at this moment, and i cant do anything to reverse this?
i do have some old nand backup (i think its from 5.x or 6.x) not sure if i had updated stuff on those fws, but there is the possibility.

Unfortunately same things happened in my case. I've update offline firmware from 7.1 to 8.1.0 via ChoiDujourNX v1.02, and SXOS to 2.8 beta. And now some old games work, but most of them (old and new games) get infamous "could not start the software" error, and then "corrupted data has been detected". I've hope that's only temporary SXOS error and will get fix in 2.8.1 beta? :)
