nds-bootstrap:

Thanks to the work of ahezard, Gericom, Apache, Robz8, _catcatcat, and shutterbug2000 and other contributors, we can now load NDS games from the SD card, without any flashcard/SLOT-1 card.

Don't expect high compatibility, but do expect many, many updates.

I just did that now i ap patched the rom with ds scene and then patched the translation and it said it was successfull im gonna check if it works

Sounds like your SD card might be dying.
Download a file recovery software, then use it to recover your files on the SD card.
After doing that, put the files on a new SD card.

Nothing related to cheats are changed in v0.21.0 and later, so that's strange.

Is the loading of nds files from a flashcard limited to a specific firmware of acekard?
I'd like to keep the ntrboot stuff on it and it crashes after creating the save file.
I tested it with the latest github build of twilightmenu and and a nightly of nds-bootstrap I compiled myself.

It should work with any Acekard 2i, but the cards with a Hello Kitty game icon will be supported in TWLMenu++ v8.5.0, when it's out.
What game is crashing? Not all (SDK1-4) games work with flashcard support.

@Robz8 I tested Sims 2, The world ends with you, Rhythm Heaven Paradise, Nanostray and Mario Slam Basketball.
All freeze with a whitescreen after creating the save file.
I used the latest devkitARM to compile nds-bootstrap.

I have the same issue.

It still gives me a white screen. Just tried to delete the save file manually, replace the game in case it got corrupted somehow and go back to a previous bootstrap build but nothing changed, even though I'm pretty sure the game was working just fine before updating Twilight Menu++ and nds-bootstrap a few days ago.


Every other game I tested is working fine, so not sure what could be the problem but thanks for the help anyway!

@samhhhhh No, it works on flashcarts just fine and I played through most of the game.
Edit:
Commenting out the check for Metroid Prime Hunters made the game work again.

This when starting TwLMenu.
It says: "Now Loading..."
And at the top Screen is the Error redscreen. ("Guru Meditation Error! data abort !" )

And it's not only at DSI Theme btw.
It also came when I had the 3DS theme on.
