I have created a memdump with sxos and found the rom at 0xA257E610 and 0xA8CAD610. Well, I used the german version - so english one could be at another position.
Saved both to a new file and it's working in sne9x and in retroarch. Finally a perfect german SOM2/SD3 Rom in my Collection ^_^

Nice.

Well, I'm hoping these come up in a pastebin or something in the near future.

I don't have room for 350mb of baggage for a snes game...

I've already said it though. I just want people to admit when they pirate shit and not hide behind lame excuses like "archiving." You still won't admit that what your doing is pirating and trying to convince me up with excuses and then deflecting when I call you out on it. This is a forum that got it's roots from the piracy scene. There's no shame in it.
Your obsession is frankly weird, and you've spent the majority of this thread derailing the conversation with your harassment. If there's no shame in it then why are you forcing people to "admit" to things?

"I don't know how else to explain it to you," but if you come to a thread about dumping an SNES ROM and you can't understand why anyone would want to do that, pick up your shit, turn around and leave instead of trying to shit all over the thread with your nonsense dribble.

Looks awesome.
Which SNES emulators on switch have this Mode7 HD mode:

Not sure it's been discussed here yet, but does the new Trials of Mana release fix any issues from the original Japanese release?
By bringing back critical hits for example.

Hi there, would you mind offering a short writeup on the steps you had to take to dump these roms? How did you locate them in the hex code and so on? BtW I am German too, so a private message in German would also be possible. Cheers in advance!

Btw. I created an account especially to ask you this.

I don't know how else to explain it to you. If Square Enix wanted you to play it on the snes, they would have released it on the snes. How can you say that Square Enix wanted a rom you had to rip out from a switch game to be played on an original console?
Depending on where you live that doesn't matter in the least. Where I live, AFAIK, as long as I don't redistribute the content, original or altered, to other people, I can basically do whatever I want with any game I purchased a legal copy of: play it on the original console, rip it to play on an emulator, create modifications or cheats for it, store one or multiple backups (though I would need to delete those if I transferred my original copy to someone else), etc. What the publisher or developer wishes about how the game is used don't matter in the least for my private use of it, and EULAs drafted for the US or Japan markets are often useless in court anyway due to we having far stricter regulations about what can be put in a boilerplate contract and how the balance of power between the parties can be shifted.

As for Seiken Densetsu 3/Trials of Mana, as cool as having an official version on the Switch is, there are better ways to play it. Such as on my PC using a better emulator and the original, and still working, SNES controllers I have hooked to it.

sk3_a.smc: English translated (USA)
sk3_e.smc: English translated debug ROM (USA) (intro crawl is in Japanese, title screen is incomplete / 'of' is misaligned, and may not be the final script)
sk3_f.smc: French translated (USA)
sk3_g.smc: German translated (USA)
sk3_s.smc: Spanish translated (USA)

sk2_a.smc: English translated (PAL)
sk2_e.smc: English translated debug ROM (PAL)
sk2_f.smc: French translated (PAL)
sk2_g.smc: German translated (PAL)
sk2_s.smc: Spanish translated (PAL)
Where it says USA is for NTSC 60Hz and PAL is for 50Hz. In other words all sd3 roms are running at 60Hz.

The game was never released in the Snes era because they encountered numerous bugs and the cart size would have been an issue, that's why it was never localized.
You Have a error in your Theorie!
IT was released in Japan and the german nintendo Magazin has announced a Release!

Can you provide checksums for these? I've seen various sk3_a roms floating around with different md5 checksums (c9829d76e25f8c4bf459cf77a8306825 and 8e185927037ea44e047261b20b6826bf).

Uh, no, they couldn't release it in the West because of technical issues. Look it up.
The Release to the West was announced in germany but it doesnt come.
I Read the articles to it on the Magazins in that time
