I already posted this idea on another thread, but i think it deserves more attention!

I would like to see The Ocarina of Time in Zelda as DLC, like Majora's Mask, it would be found somewhere in Hyrule. When found it would have a book alongside it, and you could view the book from an info tab when you select the ocarina. You could play a multitude of original OoT songs, and these would do certain things to benefit the player.

When used, it would need to recharge. The recharge time depends on the song played.
Song of Time: Would fast-forward to chosen time.
Song of Storms: Can Start/Stop Rain
Minuet of Forest: Warps Link to Deku Tree

Another Cool item would be the wind waker wand, which could be used to change wind direction and speed to benefit the player while gliding

Finding these items as easter eggs is one thing, but the added functionality would be a major undertaking that is certainly not worth the time and money needed to accomplish it.

It should be noted though that development on Breath of the Wild has completed. There will be no new DLC, and updates (if any) will be limited. Development has instead shifted to the next mainline Zelda game, and rightfully so.

While I know that they are no longer working on BOTW, I have an idea.
After either: Defeating the final boss or 100%ing the game, you should get some OP things such as the Grappling Hook (of course), Mirror Shield (with a few extra shrines with light puzzles), Skull Hammer (super fun) and the Wind Waker (makes updrafts to use your glider with)

But there's already an ability that makes updrafts.

Excluding the Wind Waker updrafts, each of these things would require far more time and money than it's worth.

Probably one of the few people who didnt enjoy BOTW. The shrines were patehtic. Dungeons > Shrines all day.
I enjoyed Breath of the Wild, but it's definitely not my favorite Zelda game. Part of that had to do with the absence of real dungeons, and the other part was the ambiguity of the storyline and timeline. However, it looks like the Breath of the Wild sequel might fix the latter part.

This DLC sounds like a good idea. I'm another who didn't enjoy BOTW. I really hated the breakable weapons & lack of proper dungeons. I only completed this game once the unbreakable weapon mod was out.
