Hi,
I also got a japanese DSi XL, and I was wondering if there were any method for changing the region of a DSi. Can we do this by flashing the NAND via hardmod ?
Thanks for your answers !
I plan to just hack HiyaCFW onto it and use TwilightMenu++ as a replacement as I can set english on itIt seems this will be more difficult than imagined, so I have decided to just buy a used nstc DSI XL, with a broken screen off ebay and swap the motherboard.
No, I would suggest to keep your eyes on Hiya's changelog (if you want the region change on emunand) or Unlaunch if on sysnand (not sure if possible) and making a polite request to their developers (on github, for the former) - but wouldn't surprise me too much if this is simply another case of "hey it's just a wiiu after all"Still no way of doing this?
Nope. But you can use TWiLightMenu in english on it, which is better. Also just got a Jp DSI, With new ways to put CFW on it, can we change it to english that way?
I have a dsiLL and already did hacked it , but I'd installed Shantae (dsiware) and the game still not detect the localization. In some way, the game still tries to run through the sysNand, nor emunand or TWiLightMenu either.Nope. But you can use TWiLightMenu in English on it, which is better.
I guess Twilight Menu++ has localization changer for DS game but still not for Dsi. Yu-gi-oh 2011 in my Japan Dsi could be switch to english by setting in TWM++.I have a dsiLL and already did hacked it , but I'd installed Shantae (dsiware) and the game still not detect the localization.
