Hacking [RELEASE] WiiVC Injector Script (GC/Wii/Homebrew Support)

For Wii Retail Injection, is it select game file and then build? Is that pretty much the gist of it? This is my first time injecting my Wii game so I want to be sure I am doing it correctly.

Well first have you gotten the needed keys and added them without that you can't do anything.

If you've got that yes you select game file then Download images from cucholix's repo, then on Gamepad/meta tab you have to put in the name of the game (don't use special characters) then some games only work with Wiimote so you don't change anything with that but some games you can use gamepad (you must use the compatibility list to see which ones do or don't) I usually do Horizontal wii remote emulation, then you build.

TeconMoon, i triyed Both versions of the Script. an very old one and the newest one.
Some games dont work tho. it says ??? in the wiiu menu. like:
Simpsons Hit & Run
Mario & Sonic at The Olympic Games ( 2010 and 2012 )

It's because the program can't use & either putting it in the name yourself or the path to the rom. Change all &'s to and and retry for both games. No special characters.

Is the reason you say not to include special characters in the 'Name to use for Packaged Title' because it'll boot into a black screen?

The reason is because the Wii U cannot parse the XML and shows a question mark icon. You can replace some special characters with their HTML entities - so "&" becomes "&".

I have converted over 20 games from Wii and GC retail, all working perfectly, tested and enjoying very much!

But for some reason... 2 of the games, Links crossbow training and Donkey Kong barrel blast get stuck on black screen. I can’t hold power button to shut it down. I have to unplug =[

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong that is causing this? Please advise

If a Wii title natively supports the Classic Controller. Is it required to select the option 'Classic Controller Emulation'? Is the Classic Controller not recognized when 'No Gamepad emulation, Wii Remotes only' is selected? I feel like for Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 there are on-screen hud's that demonstrate to press down on the d-pad 'To World Map' but nothing happens when I press it, instead I have to press 'ZR'.

Not sure if this matters but I am using the official Classic Controller Pro and not the Classic Controller.

It doesn't matter where you are you have to find the Rhythm Heaven Fever key. Google can find it regardless of where you are.

I tried Shrek SuperSlam (the best game of all time) with this and I got this error when I boot it up after installing:

Any ideas how I can fix this?
I have tried the US rom and the Europe rom, but I keep getting this error.

You have to run CFW before you play a vWii game in Wii U mode, such as Mocha or Haxchi.

I was running CFW (Mocha) when it gave me the error.
Can't run Haxchi, because I don't have any compatible games and cbf buying a $6 game.

Yeah I hated doing the browser exploit. It wouldn't work all the time for me and it just sucked lol.

But if I can access the store still I will buy a Game.

You have to get those keys and enter them one time only, and it will be saved on your computer from now on. No it's not supposed to be the game you're building. You just need to google the keys it's asking for.

I understand thank you.. I thought maybe I was attempting to build a bad file or something since the name was wrong in #2
