Homebrew Question Any way to check if Switch is hackable other than using USB a to USB c cable?

What’s up guys. So I was wondering about this because my Switch’s serial number is possibly patched and just for finding out, I don’t wanna spend money on buying a cable which is a bit expensive. So is there really any other way to find out?

you can get a usb A to type C cable for fairly cheap. Ive gotten several from some store for under 3 euro, also dont forget the jig.

usb c cables are pretty cheap and you'll eventually need one anyway if you're planning to use chargers or powerbanks. I bought a dobe one for 3 bucks.

Your Switch's serial number is already a strong indicator of whether it is hackable or not.

Just look at any unboxing. There is no USB-C cable

The pro controller comes with a usb-c cable. The switch itself not. But like the others mentioned before, a usb-c cable is really cheap.

my switch was NEW day one unit , cable in the box i have like 3 usb-c now one i got ebay fr like $2 and one came with the pro
if you get a sxpro you can use to test if your switch can be hacked and lots of phones come with a USB-c now

Buy an IKEA USB C Cable, they are quite cheap and really good

If your Switch came with a USB-C cable with a removable power brick, it is not a factory charger for the Switch. The Switch came with a USB-C charging cable that did not have a removable brick. Sorry but this is a totally childish question I think. I have found one cable but it has a lightning sign on it, like flash logo, so is this one for charging?? Or can I use it as USB? My bro has it as one of the three cables in a pair in which he uses the other ones for charging phone using power bank.
