SOOOO after looking at this app that lets us use our controllers with wii u games, i took a look at the network client, which, in my opinion, is unstable. So I purchased this adapter that lets me use my controllers wirelessly without the need of a pc needing to be on.

And with the help of other people and me, i created this compatibility list:

-Official Xbox One controller (doesn't matter which model it is as long as it is Microsoft brand)
-Official PS3 Sixaxis and DS3
-Official PS4 DS4 (both old and new models)
-Official Switch pro controller
-Official Joycons

And the list can continue bigger and bigger if you tell me if your controllers work with the adapter.

Please extract the following file into SD:wiiu/controller and set your adapter into blue mode

So, just sync the controller with the dongle, plug it in, and setup in hidtovpad and it works?
yes. what controller will you use?
you just need to unbox the dongle, then search how to update to the latest firmware, and set it to the blue led, sync or connect wirelessly or with a usb cable, and you are ready! i just need to post the official file you need

I'll probably go with an xbox one controller. I have the dongle, so I'll see about updating it tonight.
if it is x360 you will need the officiaal microsoft wireless xbox 360 adapter for pc.
If it is original xbox one it wont work
if it is xbox one s or x it will work

All my xbox one controllers have bluetooth. It's nice to know the 360 wireless adapter will work with it though.

Can I use more than one controller?
The adapter accepts up to 4 controllers at a time BUT they will be registered as one controller only, do you know what i mean? Like if you were going to play MK8 you can control one character with 4 controllers (for example I choose toad with any kart and I drive with one controller and toss items with other controller)

That's a shame. It would be great if it worked like the GC adapter, but for wireless controllers.

You can actually pick up 4 of this and when your friends come by your house or something like that you tell them to bring their own controllers

I would use Dual Shock 3 would it work wirelessly with Wii U?

Can I just leave the Mayflash plugged in to Wii U turn on the system from the gamepad away from the console and get my Dual Shock 3 to work wirelessly or do I have to plug it in after I start hidtovpad?

Do I need a file or will it work out of the box? I ordered one today.

So even though it says it's for Switch and PC it works for Wii U?
