So I was considering putting homebrew on my Wii U since I have it on my vWii and 3DS, but my SD card is not big enough to hold the entire Wii U NAND (even if the card was completely empty). I read on here that you can dump just seedrom and otp.bin, as thats whats used to fix the brick (please correct me if I'm wrong). Is it safe to dump just those things? I only plan on using VC Injects (DS & Wii) and maybe a Virtual Boy emulator (if such thing exists).

Is it ok to dump just the seedrom and otp.bin?

the otp is needed to decrypt the NAND. you can do this on the pc. I'd suggest dumping the NAND though, just in case it gets corrupted. I backup everything on all systems whenever I make changes just for this reason.

Thank you for responding! So I was reading the Wii U hack guide, and apparently only the MLC is huge (everything else can fit on my SD card fine). Is it ok to dump everything but MLC?

the mlc is internal storage. I don't know for sure, but I don't think the mlc can't be decrypted with the otp. at least, it doesn't work on the pc. both other partitions can.
