Ubisoft delays Skull and Bones again, won't be appearing at E3 2019
After the success of Assassin's Creed IV, Ubisoft planned to capitalize on their experience on making pirate games about sailing the high seas by creating Skull & Bones, an open world pirate simulator. The game was announced at E3 2017 and set to release in 2018, though it faced a delay into 2019. After a dearth of significant development updates this year, Ubisoft has officially delayed the game yet again. Skull and Bones is now set for a release window in either 2020 or 2021, making for a major delay that was so drastic, that the game won't even be shown at this year's E3, skipping the event entirely. To make up for it, Ubisoft revealed that they have three other AAA titles slated for Q4 2019.
